About
Located just south of the Palm Beaches, Atlantis Country Club has a convenient location that is just minutes from Palm Beach International Airport. The golf course stands out from others in the area thanks to the abundance of mature oaks and pines as well as massive banyan trees. The lush landscape is reminiscent of a course you would find in North Carolina. The layout features fast, undulating greens and fairways that range from being wide-open to tight and lined with trees. Water hazards come into play on nine holes, including a series of canals that cross many of the fairways. Golfers will be confronted with tricky approach shots with water one side and thick stands of trees on the other. To make the golf course even more challenging, there are 100 bunkers treacherously bordering the landing areas and greensides.

Course is usually in good condition but not worth the unreasonably high cost.

Always a fun stop on our Florida golf trip
Nicely kept course with some interesting holes. Good mix of short and long par 4s. Great finishing par 5s on both 9s. Greens tend to run fast.

Ok course not good value
Course was in mediocre condition.
Nice layout
Friendly staff
I think it is worth more like $60 than the $89 we paid.
Greens were like concrete- to closely cut and dried out.
A few impossible pin placement given the stimp.

Atlantis Golf Club
In my opinion Atlantis Gol Club is old and in desperate need of a makeover if they are going to charge nearly $100 a round. The cart paths are bumby and broken in many places. The fairways and greens are not in very good shape. The whole place emits a feeling of old and not very executive. Again I'm basing this evaluation on the price one pays to play. It reminds me of a $50 to $60 course. Good news: The staff couldn't have been nicer...They are the saving grace of Atlantis...

Value was not there
First and foremost, the good…the staff in the pro shop was SUPER friendly! The pace of play was excellent and being a single, the players allowed me to play through.
However, the bad outweighed the good. The course conditions were extremely rough. This was extremely disappointing for my first time playing there because the photos made it look excellent. This definitely wasn’t worth the money being charged and the group in front of me (who allowed me to play through shared my thoughts). There is a local course by my condo, which costs $18-$30 and it was in similar conditions.
With advanced skill level the course was not overly difficult but it was enjoyable to play. Open fairways, essentially no rough but also not very “interesting”.
Thank you to the staff because if not for their kindness, I would’ve been EXTREMELY disappointed.

We spend 2 months in Palm Beach and have adopted the Atlantis, we play 2 to 3 times a week and are very happy with our choice .
We have chosen this course over the years and intend to do the same next year.

Nice but Pricey
Let me start by saying I enjoyed playing Atlantis Golf Course
The staff were wonderful, very helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. Well done to them .
I really liked the layout of the course which include a couple of tight fairways and some hard to get at pins.
It’s a course that makes you use strategy as you make your way around, it’s not all bombing it off the tee and wedge it to the green.
The course was in decent/good condition, some areas of a few fairways need some attention and some green need a bit of TLC too. The bunker sand is surprisingly hard and compact which is just not right for a Florida course.
No gos on carts so definitely not a $100 course more like a $65 - $75 value in my opinion so that was favorable.
Overall it was enjoyable round.even if a bit pricey.
I would recommend this course but I think there are other options at the this price point even in height of season.

Not worth more than $35 per round
The course is fun to play. Nice layout and the greens are in pretty good condition. It has a great mix of short and long holes. The greens are challenging at times. And fast. It’s very wide and has a couple of nice photo opportunities.
But certainly not an $81 course.
Taking the cart to the driving range is not allowed, I never understood why, and you can’t use woods or driver. The bucket is tiny. Like 15 balls. Maybe more, but still tiny.
The staff is not the friendliest either, but I don’t care much about that.
So all things consider, yes, it’s a nice course, decently maintained but as I said, it’s your $25-$35 muni at best.
