Atlantis Country Club

I played this course about two years ago and was very impressed by it, giving it a 5 star. This last time I was a little less impressed only because the greens rolled a bit weird, seemed to have been punched recently and some of the tee boxes were pretty beat up, probably due to all the play they get. If I could I would give this course 4.5 stars. It is still pretty impressive, the layout is awesome, requires all your clubs in the bag, calls for lots of shot shaping. It's in great condition especially with how much play it gets. What I was most impressed with is that this course seemed to be the only one open in the area when all other courses were closed due to heavy rains the day before, which means this was a well designed course that drains really well.

So I played here past Saturday and was not impressed. We arrived at 15 green which sits up off the ground and found 15 range balls scattered around the green. Had no idea if any of these balls affected are approach shot's because of the rise of green and long approaches. So I pointed this out to cart man and he told me head professional was giving bunker lesson there. So the head professional just leaves the green covered in Range Ball? Also got nice surprise when I left a nice scratch on my car.

The course is in good shape. It is a good value on Golf now. Fairways are nice and greens are rolling good. Worth playing . I always play when in west Palm Beach

Beautiful greens and fairways. Great round and pace of play was perfect. This is prob top 3 course in the area.

Quiet day on the course. It felt like we were playing a private course. Greens were in very good shape. Tee boxes a little chewed up. I wish they'd get those USB ports working on their carts, I needed to charge my Garmin, and it died halfway through the round. Snack bar was closed, no beverage cart on the course. Will come back though, it's a great course.

Atlantic National had been highly recommended and I mistakenly made reservation at AtlantIS. From the range (short irons only) to the lack of a course map to fairways and greens with spotty grass to the other player who said the back 9 is no better ... its just not worth it.

If you play a lot you know Covid has given golf renewed interest and many are hitting the links these days. I play all over Florida and the United States and I must say Atlantis CC is a great Track with challenges that require you to think through the course. All courses are up in price and this one is no different. When i read reviews that say its worth less for 18 makes me laugh when all the courses around Palm Beach are up in price now. Truth is Atlantis is a hidden treasure 3 miles from the beach! Would it be nice if the bar was open.. Sure would it be nice if it played like a $1500 a month exclusive private course.. Sure but with the challenging times of Covid and staff issues that all companies have dealt with i am sure you will find this course a great value. If not your loss just less people I have to contend with when playing Atlantis CC! See ya soon! If it was good enough for Jacki Gleason its good enough for me!

We enjoyed playing regularly during our 2 months stay in Florida we must have played at least twice week .

We have chosen this course that we have known for at least 25 years ( it was better groomed then ) but we understand that it is not that easy to get staff these days..

The staff at the pro-shop , the shack and bag distribution are all professional and very nice .

W we did not regret choosing them again this year .

Hopefully we will see you next year .
