About
Located just south of the Palm Beaches, Atlantis Country Club has a convenient location that is just minutes from Palm Beach International Airport. The golf course stands out from others in the area thanks to the abundance of mature oaks and pines as well as massive banyan trees. The lush landscape is reminiscent of a course you would find in North Carolina. The layout features fast, undulating greens and fairways that range from being wide-open to tight and lined with trees. Water hazards come into play on nine holes, including a series of canals that cross many of the fairways. Golfers will be confronted with tricky approach shots with water one side and thick stands of trees on the other. To make the golf course even more challenging, there are 100 bunkers treacherously bordering the landing areas and greensides.

Usually great but NOT today
Course was surprisingly in poor condition considering all the rain we’ve had. Staff is no where to be found to help with golf bags. Pace of play was great probably because people had heard about the course conditions.

I was a single paired up with 3 other guys. A father with 2 sons who rarely see each other let alone get the chance to play 18 together. They haven’t golfed in 6 months so they were rusty. Doesn’t bother me, seeing as I don’t go out on the weekends to rush around the golf course. Last I checked golf was a leisurely sport, right? Right off the tee we had (what I can only assume were members) tell us we were going to have a tough day playing from the blues. For me, I can play the blacks no problem, but it was extremely rude of these men to give this rusty family a hard time right off 1st tee. Then not even 2 holes in when these guys are trying to find their rhythm again after a long time off the course we had a 6some, yes, a 6some come up to us and tell us we needed to get moving. Don’t get me wrong a 6 some should never catch up to a 4some so I get that but in what world is a group of 6 allowed to play together? I told them they could play through but they refused. The next hole (mind you we were on hole 4 at this point) they called the ranger over to tell us we needed to start hustling. We were playing at a 2 hour per 9 pace but yet these guys behind us and the ranger only cared about these guys I was playing with’s bad shots. Extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate. The greens were chopped up and aerated. The fairways were the same. There’s no wonder this “Private Country Club” is on GolfNow and open to the public. Newsflash-Golfers should expect 4 hour rounds on the weekends.

Decent course but there are definitely better local options for that price
