Located just south of the Palm Beaches, Atlantis Country Club has a convenient location that is just minutes from Palm Beach International Airport. The golf course stands out from others in the area thanks to the abundance of mature oaks and pines as well as massive banyan trees. The lush landscape is reminiscent of a course you would find in North Carolina. The layout features fast, undulating greens and fairways that range from being wide-open to tight and lined with trees. Water hazards come into play on nine holes, including a series of canals that cross many of the fairways. Golfers will be confronted with tricky approach shots with water one side and thick stands of trees on the other. To make the golf course even more challenging, there are 100 bunkers treacherously bordering the landing areas and greensides.

Tough Greens

Nice layout. Fairways and tee boxes were sparse in places. Greens were excellent. Fast and undulating. This course demands a solid short game. No tricks but lots if strategic bunkering

Only comment is they need to have takes in the sand traps. Due to the fact that they are on the carts, No One takes their footprints. Otherwise in decent shape.

Great value for a great challenge

Got a great deal on GolfNow for the periodicilly available Hot Deal times. This is indeed a championship level course, just look at the display near the starter listing familiar PGA stars of yesteryear as club champions and father/son champions. Greens super speedy and enough to drive you mad if you're a "low skill" putter. Your iron and short game better be on as well since they like to tuck pins here. Pace of play was outstanding at 3.5 hours in what is the earliest part of the "in season", especially with our late AM start. Played here many times durring the off season and will jump at the chance again with a Hot Deal rate. Highly recommended.
