LPGA International - Hills Course

I was first out on a Wednesday morning so pace of play was great. The course was in very good condition. For anyone who hasn’t played here recently, there is massive construction ongoing throughout the course. New homes see to be going up everywhere! The peace and quiet enhancing a scenic course appears to be a thing of the past.

Great layout, very good conditions from tee to green, but when you play at 9:30 on a Wednesday you should not have to play a 5 and a half hour round! When our group was on Hole 15 Tee Box there were 3 other 4-somes along with us. Sadly, no Ranger came to resolve the issue.

The Hills course is extremely fair. Great layout. Greens are very consistent. Bunkers are well placed and groomed to perfection.

Course is in excellent condition as always. Pace of play was great and we had a good time. Chipped in for birdie on first hole. They need air conditioned carts this time of year in Florida. Ha!

Course is a good deal at $40. Decent layout with less water features than most FL courses. But I don’t think many Fl courses that are worth more than $40-50.

Great course and the off season price was $65. Tough to beat in the Daytona Beach area. I played both the Jones 18 and the Hills 18. Hills course is harder and more target golf but fair. Jones course was in spectacular condition.

Course is in nice shape and the layout is challenging and fun. Greens had been punched and working their way back. Lots of new development but course meanders out nicely and I will be back. Definitely worth a round.

Several areas around the greens had been over-watered due to the heat, resulting in soggy lies. The greens on the Hills course were in good shape but not quite true yet due to their immaturity. The rest of the course was in fantastic shape. Pace of play was amazing as I saw only two other golfers on the course (10:52 teetime) and played 18 holes in under 2 hours!!

Saw a deal for $31 ($38 w/tax and fees) for this well known course. From bag drop through load up to go home everything was done with ease. It rained a littlle on an off but no downpours. Fairways all had god turf, greens over all were god considering they had been punched maybe a few weeks ago. They all had grass and rolled fair. Course is not overly long so if you play wel you score well. It was a true value to play such a nice faciltiy.

Nice organized course. Just wished the greens were in better shape.

Scenic at every turn, the course is lovely, despite lots of construction. Staff friendly and accommodating. Going back in the morning, book with confidence!
