LPGA International - Hills Course

I have golfed at LPGA many times over the years, and it used to be a very classy place…the course is still great, but whoever is running it, needs some help…we got there at 12, for a 1:15 tee time…so we could go hit some balls at the range, but when we pulled up, at least 10 people were waiting for carts…so I went in to pay…and we ordered a sandwich…it took forever to get the sandwich, and for $18, it was awful! Then we went back outside & still. 10+ people waiting for carts…apparently, there were 7 dead carts on the courses, from the day before…and we saw 3, still on the Hills course, at 4-5pm…what’s going on???

Course and wonderful. However, course management allowed twosomes and singles to go out, pace was very slow and disrupted the flow and rhythm of your game.

I used to really enjoy playing this course and preferred it to the Jones course, but the recent housing construction in many areas around the course has spoiled the ambiance greatly. If I come back, I will likely start playing the Jones course instead.

Played the hills course. Fun track. Course is not in great shape. Greens are new. Need some work. Fairways need some upkeep

Proshop needs a coat of paint. Bathrooms not very clean

Building houses like crazy all over course. Lots of work being done. Smells like sewage all over the course. Took down way too many trees but houses need to be built I guess. It’s a shame

Not impressed at all.

The course drains badly. It was very wet so it played much longer tha the yardages on the card. The construction surrounding most holes destroyed the attraction it used to have, the beauty. The lack of drop zones on holes with long carries over wild areas was irritating.

Due to prior rain course was wet but enjoy every minute of it. Wish next time I could play when it’s dry.

Advice should have been provided during GolfNow reservation. Wait a week or two before going at that golf course

Played hills course. Cart path only due to extremely wet fairways. As a result, drives were plugging or getting no roll out. No fault of the course, just a lot of rain. But the greens somehow were hard as a rock, and high, soft approach shots were bouncing off. Unnecessary. On plus side, great practice facilities and greens rolled fast and true.

The name needs dark to find course name in score card. I missed up my game with a wrong name.

The Hills course is one of the best challenges in the area! Course is in great shape. There is construction nearby on several holes. Traps could use some better drainage.

A storm with heavy rains passed thru the area the previous day. Course was very wet and carts allowed on paths only. Overall experience was average but better than not playing. Also disappointed in the amount of development going on. The hills course is no longer a track thru the woods!
