LPGA International - Hills Course

Do not play the hills unless your into housing and demolishing construction, fires, smoke and ash from the sky and like smell of camp fire smoke. The course shape was good but could not deal with what I just said.

I called the clubhouse to complain and they were wonderful enough to let us play the Jones course which was completely opposite of the hills course.

We check in after booking on GN. Course is wide open per the shop so take your time and head out when ready.

2 holes in and we encounter a fivesome.

We skip a hole and find a single and a twosome playing at a snails pace.

We make the turn and discover the back nine is closed

We call the shop and they say you have to go back to the first hole and play the front nine again.

At the first hole is a twosome waiting on a foursome in the fairway.

Asked for a refund and all they can do is a rain check. Don't live here.

Course is a great layout for the nine holes we saw. Tenth hole looked really good.

Greens could have used a good cutting but it looked like they had heavy rain this morning.

If you are headed out there ask about status of the course and enjoy.

This could be a 5 star course with some improvements. The bunkers do not drain and are always wet with packed sand or even mud. The other big issue is lost balls. Due to thousands of thick palmettos that grow to the ground near the fairways, a 15+ handicapper can easily lose 10 balls in a round!

the ratings are poor because apparently the course has been closed for 7 months and stupid golfnow is still letting people book tee times. cost me another $20 to play the other course. god bless the pro shop and starter who accommodated me despite golfnow’s mistake.

It was a beautiful golf course but very slow , 4 1/2 hours for 18 holes , usually takes 3 to 3 1/2 hours here in Palm Coast . Greens were beautiful and fast too . Met a couple there who invited us to play with them next time

Worth the trip from Orlando to play here. Greens and rest of the course were excellent. Bill, the starter, friendly guy.

Course is in pretty good shape until the 18th.

This hole was surprisingly the worst hole on the course.. Mainly the approach area 50 to 75 yards from the green. Fairways were great, greens fast, and tee boxes in good shape.

I would play again.

Need new carts. Also had expected cart girl.

Course let a group of 6 play a scramble which backed up the entire course. At one point we had 5 groups waiting or just approaching a Par 4. Marshall did nothing to move them along- he said they are keeping pace

A 6 player group was allowed to play a scramble which created a 5 1/2 hour round. At one point there was the 6 player group attempting to make it to the green, twosome in the fairway, threesome (waiting on tee), our twosome waiting in cart and another twosome driving up on a Par 4. Ranger came by and said all is good!!

Really Marshall?? What’s the point in your being out here?

Course is in great shape - it’s a shame nothing was done about the group of 6 (who by the way appear to be beginners of the game based on how they hit the ball and the etiquette that was truly missing!!)

Had fun for 8.5 holes. Then sky opened up and lightning strikes were fast and furious.

Too bad, we would have liked to finish.

Oh well.

We played the hill course which was challenging. The greens were small and some were elevated so you have to be careful on your approach shots or the ball will roll off as we found out quiet a bit...lol. The greens were in great shape and rolled very nice. The fairways was also in great shape. It is a beautiful goldlf course and we will definitely play it again.
