LPGA International - Hills Course

We played this course yesterday! The course is maintained well, layout is challenging!

Unfortunately the “4some” in front of us tee’d of as two and two as one of the twosomes were there on time and the others were a couple minutes later. They held up play causing a back up behind us and never did pair up as they should have.

On top of that their pace of play was incredibly slow! Ended up finishing 30+ minutes behind pace of play.

Two days prior we finished over 30 minutes ahead of pace.

5 plus hour round. No rangers on the course, they continue to send you messages on the GPS that you are behind and they may make you skip a hole, meanwhile there are 3 groups on every hole.

I am a snowbird. First time playing this.year.. Course was in great shape. Staff were very friendly. The driving range was in excellent.shape .I will be back.

Played on a really cold Saturday morning so there was a frost delay. The staff was nice and let our twosome out first when play opened so we finished under 3 hours. I just wasn't that impressed with the course layout or conditions. Some tee boxes were all dirt. The winter in Florida has been especially cold so I understand some rough spots. Maybe I'll try it again in spring or fall, but I'm not in any hurry to play it again.

Arrived at the course early and asked if I might be about to tee off earlier than my tee time. The course wasn’t crowded due to less than ideal weather conditions. From the starter to the pro shop staff, everyone was very friendly and professional and accommodating. I started playing and ran into several groups out there already. But unlike most courses I’ve played, everyone was friendly and polite and allowed me to play through. I finished my round of 18 holes in 2.5 hours. Thanks to all for a great day!

Got to the first tee on the Hills course at our 12:07 t-time. We were told they were one hour behind due to letting 5 groups off in the AM that didn't have scheduled times. You would think when you were checking in they would inform you of what is happening and not leave it to the starter. Range balls, free drink, lunch ticket would have made everyone at least feel the pro shop knew what they were doing. Along with that we barely finished before dark, never saw a ranger all day... Disappointing

I play the Hills course during the winter once or twice a year for the last 10 years. This round was one of the better experiences due to pace of play weather and course conditions.

I can never figure out these greens but that's my problem because they are in good condition.

First class operation. Great practice area. 2 fantastic courses. A must play in Daytona Beach
