LPGA International - Hills Course

Please don't pay full price to play the Hills course after 2pm. We played Saturday Oct 26th , 2024. The mosquitos are by the 100s attacking you. This was simply unbearable and made the back 9 nearly impossible to play. So buyers be aware.

Nice course, but the Bermuda grass is horrible. Hard to find your ball and hard to hit out of. They need to kill all the Bermuda and replace it with zoisia or something else. It definitely lowered my overall experience.

Fast greens, driver friendly, yet very challenging.

The course is a little muddy after the hurricanes but it still in very good shape. Greens are perfect and fast.

The two hurricanes that went through the area blew some trees over but they have gone above and beyond to keep the facilities clean. The hills is a difficult course but the views are great throughout the whole course.

Nice course but it should have been closed or cart path only as it was way too wet to be driving out onto the fairways.

I was told there's a new GM and it's all about the money but you have to preserve the course too. Way too wet!!!!

I played the Hills course today. There was standing water everywhere but the greens. The tees were a mess, the fairways were quagmires and the rough had standing water. They should not have been letting people play with the course this wet. I lost 4 golf balls in the middle of the fairways because the tee shots plugged and I could not find them. I got covered in mud every time I took a divot. This was a waste of time and money. Normally, this is a really nice place to play but I will never play there again if the course is not dry.

Everything about the course was top notch with one exception. Several of the fairways were extremely wet, soggy such you had to move your ball several feet away

I am aware of the hurricane conditions that went through on Thursday. I played a course in Bunnell Friday Less than 20 miles away Very dry, unlike LPGA.

It appears the course may be getting too much water from the sprinkler system Or needs to be graded to eliminate the soggy conditions

My first time playing LPGA National. Very impressive drive way leading to the course. Club house very nice but no one to take it clubs or load you up. Staff was nice at check in. We got a tee time at 2:45 pm on Saturday. Course was pretty much empty, which is surprising for Saturday in mid Sept. but we definitely didn’t mind. Course is beautiful and layout is tough. We had a two club wind in our face at times which made it a lot tougher. Check out the course slope before you choose your tee boxes. We played white and the slope was 142. Yes, very tough, but we had fun and loved the course. It you love beautiful and challenging courses, it is a must play!

Many holes were cart path only. All holes were very soggy. Greens roll true. Area had received several inches of rain in the last week.

Course had not been mowed. Lawn staff not courteous

Fairways should be the rough. Course should be closed with these type of conditions.

Rip off.

The price was not worth the play. Love the openness of the course, but $75 was a bit much. Our start time was 7:30 & the course was soaking wet which is not management’s fault, but still surprised we were allowed to play. We were covered in mud the entire time of play.

Need more water coolers & garbage cans. They were very limited in both items.

Cart path only. Course in good shape but grass not cut bc so wet.

I will start off saying they should have closed the course.

We had a lot of rain recently.. It was great if you wanted to slosh around in mud.

I hit the first tee box. Walked up and started imbedding foot prints in the entire tee box.

You set up and slowly sink in.

The fairways were as bad if not worse in some areas.

If you liked wearing mud this was the place.

Why they didn’t shut it down for a day to let it recover….. Flat out Greed.

I paid for 18 played 7 had enough.
