Jensen Beach Golf Club

Excellent golf course. It has been underrated by other players for no good reason. All holes have excellent lay outs, well-maintained fairways and surrounded by plenty of natural beauty. I have played many high rated golf courses in this area but this one is far better than other golf courses.

A few things you should know prior to playing Eagle Marsh.

1. It’s under new ownership and they are dedicated to making positive change.

2. The fairways are about a month old but the grass has grown in beautifully. It has rained heavy the past few days which caused the wet playing conditions. I am looking forward to playing this track in 2 months time.

3. The greens are a little slow but are in good shape. That ball lands softly and roll true to their line.

4. Holes can be a bit confusing at times depending on which box you are teeing off from. Handful of blind drives and blind shots. You are surrounded by natural wooded areas and water.

To summarize Eagle Marsh i would recommend this course to someone looking for a fun round but wants to be challenged. During snow bird SZN the price is a little high but still a good deal compared to the $50+ tag every where else. Play this track but cautious of recent weather.

Eagle Marsh is getting better by the day. Played one year ago and the place was a dump. Since the new owners have taken over it's in much better condition and improving. Met Johann, one of the owners, today and he was out sanding/repairing the greens. Shows me that the effort to improve the course is there.

The staff couldn’t have been better. The layout of the course is beautiful but it’s not what you see is what you get (I’ll explain later). The condition of the course was playable but fairways and greens leave a lot to be desired. Greens were inconsistent with a couple in very poor shape. This is the first time I had played this course and it is very difficult standing on the tee as to where you are to go. There are several blind tee shots. Scorecard course map is little to no help. The information at the tee box is yardages only and no hole layout at all. I would love to come back when the course is back in shape now that I have an idea of the layout. One staff member said it has changed management and is on the rebound.

Just moved to FL. First time to play the course.

Friendly staff. Course is being upgraded by new ownership. Current condition pretty good. Fairways have been over seeded and are looking pretty good. Green speeds were about a 10 stimp and putted pretty true. I really enjoyed the course design. Looking forward to another round in a few weeks to enjoy additional course improvements.

New Owners. Again. This one seems to have a plan. They've overseeded the fairways (ryegrass, I think) after killing off the old grasses. Once it's gown in, the result should be a more uniform, playable surface. However, that's going to take a while, and in the meantime the fairways are rough. Patience. I think permanent reseeding will be in the spring. There was lots of other maintenance going on, cleaning out and cutting back the many overgrown areas. This should help a lot on a course notorious with locals as being a ball eater. I'm enthused, and hope this is the real deal. Best of luck to the new owners.

Eagle Marsh has water! Best review and plan for course management before you play here. Winter grasses, wet conditions and tight lies present a challenge.

Simply put this course has a world of potential it is such a huge disappointment. Needs some TLC in all areas except the greens and it would be a gorgeous course. The greens were great but everything else was horrible. Stay away until it is revamped

Played with a buddy today. Course has so much potential. Arrived at bag drop and met by staff. Very genuine and kind. Proceeded to first tee and played away. Cart path only which I was not very happy about. First drive straight down the middle and almost lost the ball. Plugged about 90%. Drainage system doesn't exist on this course. After the 1st hole my shoes were covered in mud and it set the tone for the rest of the round. The greens were very good I must say. Fairways and tee boxes were terrible. Course has so much potential. If the right management takes it over and put mo eye into it this place can be a total gem. Wildlife all over which I love. Beautiful scenery but very very disappointed in the conditions. I don't recommend this place until it gets cleaned up if that happens.

Good challenging course. Fairways and greens were pretty good with a few exceptions. Trees/plants getting overgrown and creating an even tighter course. Staff was great. Definitely well worth the money to go and play another course.

A solid golf course with a good driving range and excellent restaurant. Nice staff and a course that’s now improving day by day!

The course is a good test of golf.

It’s tranquil and beautiful. The driving range is really good and the restaurant is very good.

The course is under new management and getting in really god shape.

When we lasted play Eagle Marsh, we were highly disappointed with the condition of the course. These condition have improved significantly and it is starting to returning to a great test of golf.
