Always a pleasure to play this course. Always a pleasure to deal with this staff and the Pro Shop. Love this Challenge and layout of course ,they make you feel like you never went away when you show up to play. Kudos to Frank Dobbs.

Played the course since it was opened and it’s in the best shape ever!!!

This was the first round I had played in many months and the first time I had ever played Eagle Marsh. I was fortunate enough to team up with a member (Joe) who was an excellent player and knew the course very well. Without Joe's guidance and local knowledge I would not have enjoyed my round as much as I did. I loved the layout and the many subtleties the course offers. While the conditions were not perfect, they were darn good. I found the greens to be firm and fast and for the most part fair. There were many tight lies in the fairways and around the greens that took some getting used to, but I eventually adapted and played well towards the end of the round. I seldom give 5 star ratings for any course, so for me a 4 star rating means I will be back to play Eagle Marsh again. Definitely got bang for my buck. I also found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. Thanks to all for a most enjoyable day.

Although a very fair course, it will challenge all facets of your game and does not provide many easy golf holes. One minor flaw might be that the greens have become slightly "crusty" and very quick. We have played the course 4 or 5 times this year and look forward to returning.

Course seems like it hasn't been watered in weeks. Greens are dried out and are like putting on glass. Eveythjng runs. Seems like this these conditions would be okay for summer 100 degree heat.

Great value. With a little work this could be a premier course. Staff very nice. Food in restaurant was excellent and staff there was excellent. More importantly the members at this course were very nice and went out of there way to be friendly to a visitor. Chris Ide , Joe and Bob were a fun bunch to play with. Hope to return next year for a pre beach round. This was the second year that I played with some truly nice people. If I lived here would definitely consider joining this club

Course is a tough course but fun to play. Greens are fast & without rain lately, you got a great roll from your hit. 1st time I played so I was grateful for the guys I played with who plays it regularly. The only negative is please remove the tree on the 10th tee box

Nice layout, was a dry spell, so course condition reflected that. Pace was slow.. some water stations were empty, GPS did not display distances. My biggest issue was the starter added a single to our threesome; that was fine with us. However, I was the single rider in our threesome and my bag was loaded in the driver position with my water and towel in that spot. The starter took our cart to get the single and in doing so, he moved me to the passenger side. This would have been ok if he’d asked me, but he did not. This to me is UNACCEPTABLE. As a starter at my home course, I would never do such a thing. This shows a lack of respect for customers and reflects very poorly on the course.

Greens were very bumpy, did not roll true and appeared not well maintained.

This course is in bad shape. The tee boxes are rough and cut up. The greens are filled with sand. Fairways are dri d up. Makes you wonder if they are going to sell it.

I've played here many, many times (past member) and it seems there may be some kind a transition going on. Ownership changed in October, 2017 and conditions seem to be slipping. I cannot connect the present conditions to management or weather patterns, but rather can only state that which I can observe. Greens have something going on that make them bumpy, greenside rough is getting particularly gnarly and tee boxes are exhibiting stress (wear). At this time, not worth the money--a shame it's a great place that's always been sensitive to weather conditions.

New ownership is making headway improving conditions. Greens were fast and true. Tees and fairways were good. Bunkers were good. Tees to fit every length/ability. Pace of play was terrible - 5 hours, but in my experience that's unusual. It's an interesting layout that many people hate because it can be unforgiving if you hit it crooked. I've grown to really like it, especially in the wind.

Slow play we stopped playing after the 8 hole because it took the group ahead of us almost 40 min to complete 7 hole called for a stater and was told not much they could do. Better management is needed here
