Be sure to play the tees that fit your game. If you don't, be sure to bring your shag balls, because you'll go through a bunch. An interesting course that's very challenging from the back tees, more friendly from the whites. Condition in the winter months is just OK. Some holes are scenic, if you can ignore the houses. Sometimes slow play, sometimes super-fast. Look for a hot deal for best value.

The rented left hand clubs needed a better driver and three wood, too much flex for a big hitter.

Challenging to get to the green, then the green were so bad, it didn't matter. The course has a lot of character but in poor condition, especially for the high price.

Played here last year several times which prompted me to return. Layout is very interesting, breezed along in just under 4 hours (we were a 3some). Greens were showing signs of disease and were recently sanded making them very slow and non-homogeneous so unpredictable. Most traps had water, only thin sand and lots of unraked footprints. In the defense of the course, they had had 2 inches of rain earlier in the week, however, not all conditions caused by the rain. Other courses in vicinity are in better condition and offer better value and experience.

Good basic golf course with average conditions for Florida at this time of year. They keep the pace of play well monitored, so you can expect a fast round which is nice.

Great test for golfers of all skill levels. Several tee options on all holes. Course knowledge is a big help so expect some unexpected problems first time out. Once you become familiar with course you'll find it more enjoyable.

Fun lay out. You can't pull out the driver often if you hit long. Greens fast, true but diseased in places. One of the prettier courses I 'be played

This was a great course and the greens were perfect.My friend and I were a bit un sure about playing this course because so many reviews complained about how hard and un fair it was.Not true...This was one of our favorite courses and we play a lot!Sure if you go out and cant hit a straight ball it would be a challenge,but if that's the case spend more time at the range and don't put bad reviews because you cant play.The pace was great and the ranger was on top of things.This is the top of season and we never waited more than a few minutes to tee off.Also their was a beverage cart and the attendant was very nice and funny..Golfers must try this course if you like a great challenge that you can get aggressive with,then this course is for you...

Without a course book or a playin partner who's been here before it, it would be easy to hit the wrong shot.

Friendly and professional staff. Course rewards a good shot and penalizes a poor shot to the maximum. The greens and fairways were somewhat rough because of the volume of play in the winter season. Play early or the mosquitoes will eat you alive at dusk since the course is located in the freshwater savannas. I love this course!

Good track to play , above difficultly. Greens were slower than other courses I played in area, but roll nice. Some long par fours and fives from the blue and back tees . Overall fun day.

I didn't like the course. There are quite a few blind shots . 18 is just a plain weird hole. Pace started well then things backed up. Never saw a Marshall so it is my assumption they aren't woried about it. But I hate waiting 15 minutes to tee off. When there are three groups waiting to tee off on the 11th hole we have a problem.

Eagle Marsh is tight with some blind shots. The fairways often require shots over marsh. Likewise any ball off the fairway rolls into marsh. Losing balls is very typical.

Overall, a positive experience. Course was in good shape and the staff was courteous.

Booked on GolfNow for a pretty good deal of $19 for 18 holes. I went on Eagle Marsh's website before booking to see the difficultly, course pictures and score card; as I always do before playing a course I have never played before. The pictures on Eagle Marsh's website looked great, dark green fairways and greens. As soon as I pulled up to the course it looked very different. It was very dry, lots of yellow grass but to my surprise the spots that were green were very soft. Every shot you took mud sprayed all over you. Very disappointing course conditions. It was also not a very hard course. The bag staff was friendly and did a good job of cleaning my clubs after the round. Many old people and lots of ladies on the golf course so if you have to be somewhere fast after your round don't go to eagle marsh.

A nice course to play with some tricky holes especially if you haven't played it before.
However missed not having GPS as a help.
