Cypress Lakes Country Club
About
Cypress Lakes Country Club is the centerpiece of the Ormond community, a neighborhood of more than 500 homes. Blending seamlessly into the surrounding cypress trees, the golf course is both challenging and scenic. You'll have to navigate your way around 17 different ponds that come into play throughout the course. With several forced carries over wetlands, it will feel like there is water at every turn. There are also 40 strategically placed bunkers bordering the greens and fairways. It's a layout that will test your accuracy and ability to strategize. Multiple sets of tees keep scratch golfers happy while beginners can also approach the course with confidence. In addition to the golf course, Cypress Lakes has a practice facility featuring a 400-yard driving range with multiple targets and putting and chipping greens.

please get a starter
At 11:00 am on a Sunday there was no starter, we had a 11:10 tee time for 2. There was a 4 some heading to the green on first hole, a 2 some in the fairway, a single waiting to hit, and then a 4 some in front of us waiting, they said the had 10:45 tee time? A single joined us, said he had the 11 spot.
Course is in very good
Course recently punched and sanded the greens, they are rolling well and look great. Fairways are full snd despite a hard rain the evening before were not soft or muddy. Good value for the money.
Windy but fun
Cypress Lakes was a fun experience. A good variety of holes with well placed trees and solid conditions. There was still a bit of winter kill on the edges of some greens but it didn't affect play and you coukd see them coming back. Otherwise the greens were smooth and true. The staff was super friendly and pace of play was excellent. I would definitely return and would like to see the course in prime season.
MM Cypress
Beautiful day. Course in good shape. Lots of water.
Nice course!
Fun, challenging layout. Can’t beat it for the price
Fairways
Only problem I have is there cutting the fairways too low and they need to let them grow a little bit
Good place to Play
Played with a friend who came home to visit. We really enjoyed the course. Course is good and the greens are exceptional, especially for this time of the year. For a semi private or public course in the area, probably only the TPC has better greens, . The course staff (Collin in the Proshop) was extremely nice and accommodating. You will not be disappointed. BWash
Sand traps
They need to put some sand in the sand traps the bunkers they're not called Mud traps other than that key boxes need more grass
Fun track
This is one of my favorite courses in the Nola area
Fun layout with a nice mix of longer holes at a bargain!
The staff is fun and the restaurant has some great grub
Warm Winter Day
Course in good shape after dealing with 10 inches of snow two weeks ago. Greens were in very good condition. Some fairways could use some fill. Temperature reached 80.
Terrible business
Booked online that morning, got to course and it was closed! Called several times to get refunded and no one will ever call me back! If you are closed then you shouldn’t have tee times available to book! I wonder how many other people they scammed! CROOKS!!
