About
Cypress Lakes Country Club is the centerpiece of the Ormond community, a neighborhood of more than 500 homes. Blending seamlessly into the surrounding cypress trees, the golf course is both challenging and scenic. You'll have to navigate your way around 17 different ponds that come into play throughout the course. With several forced carries over wetlands, it will feel like there is water at every turn. There are also 40 strategically placed bunkers bordering the greens and fairways. It's a layout that will test your accuracy and ability to strategize. Multiple sets of tees keep scratch golfers happy while beginners can also approach the course with confidence. In addition to the golf course, Cypress Lakes has a practice facility featuring a 400-yard driving range with multiple targets and putting and chipping greens.

The course is in great shape. The greens are wonderful.
Course has lots of water hazards.
Beautiful layout. Water hazards featured on almost every hole. First time playing, so would have appreciated golf cart distance finder. Enjoyed the course, looking forward to another round.
Hats off to the course condition
really impressed with condition of the greens. best i have seen them since i started playing the course 25 years ago. Keep up the good work!
My new go to course - conditions are great!
Hands down my go-to course in the area.
As a local, I can confidently say the greens are the best around—fast, smooth, and always in great shape. The overall course condition was awesome, and you really can’t beat the value. It’s the perfect spot to get in a great round without breaking the bank. If you’re looking for a reliable, well-kept course at a great price, this is it.
Challenging and fun
Course was in excellent condition
Greens are in very good condition but firm and hard to hold
Enjoyable course, important to hit fairway and no your distances
please get a starter
At 11:00 am on a Sunday there was no starter, we had a 11:10 tee time for 2. There was a 4 some heading to the green on first hole, a 2 some in the fairway, a single waiting to hit, and then a 4 some in front of us waiting, they said the had 10:45 tee time? A single joined us, said he had the 11 spot.
Course is in very good
Course recently punched and sanded the greens, they are rolling well and look great. Fairways are full snd despite a hard rain the evening before were not soft or muddy. Good value for the money.
Windy but fun
Cypress Lakes was a fun experience. A good variety of holes with well placed trees and solid conditions. There was still a bit of winter kill on the edges of some greens but it didn't affect play and you coukd see them coming back. Otherwise the greens were smooth and true. The staff was super friendly and pace of play was excellent. I would definitely return and would like to see the course in prime season.
