Cypress Lakes Country Club
About
Cypress Lakes Country Club is the centerpiece of the Ormond community, a neighborhood of more than 500 homes. Blending seamlessly into the surrounding cypress trees, the golf course is both challenging and scenic. You'll have to navigate your way around 17 different ponds that come into play throughout the course. With several forced carries over wetlands, it will feel like there is water at every turn. There are also 40 strategically placed bunkers bordering the greens and fairways. It's a layout that will test your accuracy and ability to strategize. Multiple sets of tees keep scratch golfers happy while beginners can also approach the course with confidence. In addition to the golf course, Cypress Lakes has a practice facility featuring a 400-yard driving range with multiple targets and putting and chipping greens.

Very boring course!
Such a boring golf course! The front 9 was a snooze fest and the back 9 was slightly better, but no holes have left any lasting impression. Course was sopping wet in places, and bone dry in others… not well maintained, although the greens were in good condition and were firm & fast. Every hole was lined with houses just a few yards off the fairway, which I was constantly paranoid about. Tee boxes were either bare or like hitting out of rough… only a couple were acceptable. Would never return here, nor recommend anyone to spend their hard earned cash here.
Golf S LA
Nice layout, enjoyed the round......greens are challenging, encourages position play.....total distance perfect for recreational golfers, tips are manageable....would always like to see the fairways a bit softer, but not a complaint......review the card for water, if playing the for the first time!!.... would highly recommend, great course...
This course has a challenging design
This this course has a challenging design, but a great deal of diversity throughout its plan. I would certainly recommend this course for anyone who likes the challenge of water and practically every hole, and who appreciates well kept grains and trapped.
only complaint is water in the ball washers and PLEASE SOME SAND IN THE BUNKERS
The rain really helped the course was in great shape the greens are a little slow but other than that everything was perfect what they do need is a marshall and a cart girl
Greens are great
Course is really nice and the greens are in great condition.
Improving
Good golf weather had the course busy but decent pace of play even without a Marshall.
Greens were nice but fairways were just ok.
A Players Challenger
The greens are rolling, the fairways, don’t miss, balls love swinging in water,!Very enjoyable time!
Greens are great
I played a coupe days after some heavy rains, carts off paths and most of the course was very dry. Greens are nice and rolling fast.
Cypress Lakes
Play was slow. Too many non-golfers playing Saturday after noon. Teed-of340 had to waiting rest of round. Foursome who was taking video of their swing and they hit balls unitil they found one they liked. No consideration for other playing behind them and not did not care that sunset around 630. The couurse was a good test of golf game.
Rain
Just like all the golf courses in south Louisiana they need rain rain and lots of rain
Thanks for the review. Not much we can do about the course being wet from the weather. In regards to your comment about the tee boxes, they are intentionally left longer in the winter for over seeding. We are sorry to hear the course did not meet your expectations
