About
Cypress Lakes Country Club is the centerpiece of the Ormond community, a neighborhood of more than 500 homes. Blending seamlessly into the surrounding cypress trees, the golf course is both challenging and scenic. You'll have to navigate your way around 17 different ponds that come into play throughout the course. With several forced carries over wetlands, it will feel like there is water at every turn. There are also 40 strategically placed bunkers bordering the greens and fairways. It's a layout that will test your accuracy and ability to strategize. Multiple sets of tees keep scratch golfers happy while beginners can also approach the course with confidence. In addition to the golf course, Cypress Lakes has a practice facility featuring a 400-yard driving range with multiple targets and putting and chipping greens.

Great price good course
Pace of play was good. Friendly staff. Course is in good condition. Greens are a little slow. Worth the price. Friendly stay. Will play again.

Course was in good condition. Greens were a little slow and tee boxes were hard. Overall good course and would go back more often.
COULD BE BETTER
enjoyed the course, but the greens were so slow and very bumpy.was told the greens have not been cut in 2 days.
the greens were bone dry and should be cut every day.
for the prices they charge should be putting more money back in the course.
Only my 2nd time playing there, it's a good challenging golf course, greens were slow but that is likely seasonal and not normal.
Staff was great and friendly.
Beautiful scenery in Ormand nice hard course.
Like this course a lot when its not wet. Lots of improvements happening here which is great to see. The greens are better on back nine. It was a muggy, overcast cold day, but we had fun any way. Course needs attention. Staff is friendly and hard working. Great people. Will be back.
There’s some potential in this course, but it’s mainly just the natural setting.
Waited 15 minutes for someone to check us in and give us a cart, not because there was a line or anything... just no one to serve customers.... at 11am on a Saturday.
One employee, who looks like he should be cooking moonshine in the woods somewhere, felt like he needed to come tell us to start on #1... when we were on the practice green.... I guess he thought we were starting on par 4 #10... with wedges and putters in our hands.
He also chased us down in the middle of our second round, apparently to accuse us of trying to play the second 18 for free, which made total sense since we just played 9 and 10 which are right in front of the clubhouse. I can’t possibly think of a better way to sneak and play for free. Almost had him but he’s just tooooooo sharp.
It’s an ok course. Playing surface not great, but I guess that helps balance out the easy layout.
Service is not professional.
Couldn't Play
1st one of our foursome dropped out due to work. We still wanted to play until 2nd one dropped out the morning of play due to COVID-like symptoms. Tried to get credit on GolfNow for future play but it was too late apparently.....
Great price which included 3 coupons...........Sadly.
Below Par
Below par only bc course was extremely packed. Club house was allowing walk ups to jump in. No spacing between groups. No range balls available while waiting.
Not worth it!
Really the course was just underwhelming for $55. The Greens had been sanded recently and not cut in forever, so to say they were slow would be an understatement!
Below there normal standard
Grass on Fairways and rough looked liked it had not been cut in weeks. Lost a few balls in the rough barely off the fairway.
Had fun yet got sick.
This course is great to play and you move at your on pace. The staff was friendly and helpful. Yet could not finish all 18 hole. I only got to play 9 holes cause I got sick and had to leave. Tried to be able to come back and finish the last 9 yet was told that I couldnt do that. Which is not cool. Would be nice if something like that or a family emergency happens that u would be able to come back and finish your round.

Great layout & fun place to play. Greens need work. Not a smooth roll & very slow. I’d give the greens a 3.5/5 rating.
