About
Grand Ridge Golf Club is tucked away in the swamplands of St. Charles Parish, La. This scenic course is dappled with towering cypress trees and ancient oaks draped in moss. There are enough challenges on the golf course to keep the beautiful backdrop from being too distracting though. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes and the tight fairways are lined with trees. You'll need to have accurate drives in order to put you in a good position for the approach to the equally challenging greens. The golf course is a fair test that is player friendly enough to appeal to low and high handicappers alike. Grand Ridge Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 15th. This tough 515-yard hole starts off with a tee shot over a pond up a narrow, tree-lined fairway.

course could use some RAIN bad, 2.5 hrs. for round, nobody was out there :}
Greens were sanded but played decent
Impressive golf course
So this was the first time I played this golf course and I was very impressed with the fairways and greens I play a lot of golf courses around Louisiana and this one was up there in my top five,. I definitely will be playing this course again.-
Making improvements
The course is still undergoing improvements, but the change is noticeable since last time I played a couple months ago. They are making strides in improving the fairways and removing some of the excess trees. Greens are still good shape.
Fun course!
We were in town for the Zurich Classic and decided to play. Course was in good condition and challenging greens. Two holes were under repair but we did not mind.
Great, full greens. Ball rolling well.

A great experience and friendly staff
We had 3 in our group. They asked us if this was the 1st time here. It was and they gave us a quick tour.
They explained the layout of the course and also the cart path and where it crosses the street. Watch for cars of course.
Also watch for gators.
Due to Mardi Gras parades we saw very few people on the course. Hence the pace of play was awesome. It was like we had the course to ourselves.
The course was an excellent condition some areas where we saw fringe was as good as greens on other courses.
Due to recent rain, we did have water setting on a couple of holes. I believe just holes 12 and one other hole. The sitting water was minimal though.
Overall, this was a great experience. The course was in great shape. We had friendly staff. They even stopped to check on us towards the end of the first hole.
I saw golf now had this course rated a lot better than our normal courses so we wanted to give it a try. We definitely will be back. They deserve the ratings they got and I say five stars.
Good shape for winter
The staff is always great. For winter time the fairways and greens were in good shape. Playing on a weekday morning we breezed along.
Please put some water in the ball washers and some sand in the bunkers and it would get a five thank you
