First, the staff was great! They were helpful and accommodating throughout.
The golf course was not in acceptable playing conditions. I read reviews and can’t believe that they are real after visiting this course. There was not one ranger and the round took 5 hours and 35 minutes. The pictures are a complete sham depicting the course from years past.
Nice staff / amenities
Nice staff and amenities, but really lacking a marshall. Took over 5 hours to play with three hours being on the back 9 with a 4 group traffic jam.
The group ahead of us decided to leave rather than wait.
Painful Experience
Five plus hour round. Zero ranger presence. For all the rain we had there was an awful lot of dead spots. Greens like a dusty pool table. Used to be worth the drive in high season.
Good condition
Played very early on that day, nobody was in front of us so pace of play was great. Greens and fairways were in great condition. Sand trap were ok. Some of the rough need some work but overall ok.
Windy Day on the Course
Since we have played the course many times I know what to expect in general. This time we found the tee boxes to be extremely hard and very difficult yo place tees in the ground. This despite the rain that has fallen this year. If the tee boxes could get some attention that would really be appreciated.
Good surprise
Besides the condition of fairway and some greens this course is very good. I really like. I will be back soon
Nice course
I’ve been playing this course for few year now. It’s in better shape than it has been but it requires a real good clean up some areas. Keep it on the fairway and you’ll be okay. It can play very long if that’s your choice.
