About
Designed by Scott Miller, this course is located in the southeastern foothills of the McDowell Mountains and is an innovative departure from the “target” style courses constructed in the desert in the recent past. Its layout takes advantage of a variety of land features: rolling hills, ridgelines, lush valley and washes, with a backdrop of prominent mountain outcroppings. In many instances, long extended views into untouched desert landscapes and area landmarks, such as Camelback Mountain, will be afforded. It is a strategic design, which asks the player to make choices relative to skill level.

Worth the money. Everything is perfect about it.
Awesome elevation changes and great greens
Fun track
What a fun beautifully laid out track. Greens are much better than Chullo and Sagairo over at WeKoPa. Conditions are better at WeKoPa except the greens. The tee boxes and fairways are awesome at Eagle mountain. There are a few places where the fairways have been lost a bit but it's not bad ...The greens are pure and roll really true. The layout of eagle Mountian is what is stunning......Absolutley loved it .......Go and play if you can
Course lacked grass in various fairway areas. Traps had hard or wet sand so not fair. Green were very good shape. Played first tee time so we set pace

Friendly fairways
Lots of contour that brings the ball back into the fairways. Good condition in January. Pace was good on front nine but slowed down on the back. Greens and fairways were good.

Terrific course, excellent condition, staff friendly, lunch was great. Highly recommend, will play again. 1/05/2021
Great course
We had a great time! Second time playing the course from the front to the back great course! Greens were fast, tuff pin placement, thank you for letting us play by ourselves and moving the single player to the group ahead of us.
Not in good shape for the price.
Painted fairways in places. Terrible sand traps. Unfairly punishing layout in many places.
Course was in very good shape
The course was in very good shape. The sand in the Bunkers was hard. Not easy to get out.
Greens and fairways were in good shape. A bit expensive ($129+tax)
Enjoyed the day.
Poor Condition
Played 12/13/20. Couldn’t drive in the fairway only in the rough on the cart side, got yelled at twice by the marshal for being too close to the fairway. The course was dry and fairly brown, greens were fast but bumpy and spotty. I’m really surprised troon allows these conditions. For $107 troon rate, this course should be in much better shape, glad I didn’t pay full price. Won’t back ever!
