This is a good course when in great shape. Greens were furry and slow

Fairways have a lot of thin/bare spots.

Still enjoyed the round but have played it when it is much better condition

Note: for a course trying to go fully private this does you no favors.

I promised my younger son we’d play this course since we live on it, but that we had to wait until prices went down. I paid $69 and my 8 yr old was charged $59 for a 8:10am tee time on a Friday morning scheduled to be 100+ before noon. They were nice enough to let us jump out at 7:40am as that slot was still open.

Yes, I understand it’s summer and courses start drying out, but this course is not in very good shape for the price and first week of July. We were encountering dead spot on every fairway, frequently having to play “preferred lies” due to dead patches and spotty grass. The greens were bad. Not sure how long ago they plugged and sanded, but there was no notice about it being done and it was a challenge to impossible to get balls to roll true. Had I know about the condition in advance, especially the greens, we would have played elsewhere. Considering they are still charging $69-89 weekdays before 9:00am this place is way overpriced for the conditions. Unfortunately, I don’t think they care about public golfers anymore. They don’t offer a junior rate, even during off-season months. They appear to be trying to take it private again, though doubling the price of all their membership options ($70K for equity plus dues) will put that out of reach for nearly all golfers except the highest income tiers.

Greens were a little bumpy due to airification.

Las Sendas is a premier tract in the East Valley. I expected it to be in pristine condition but that was not the case. There are too many bare dirt areas in the fairways and the greens are too bumpy.

Still a good time, but a little disappointing.

They booked six people for the same tee time. They chose to let the local paying player go of and me, since I was Golf Pass was offered a later, an HOUR later, time.

No offer for any compensation for my wasted time.

Terrible management.

Probably not using Golf Pass again. If the course hadn't agreed, I wouldn't get my refund. Not a good policy if I am having a issue with the course!

Local that plays Las Sendas 4-5 times a year. This is the worst I've seen it. I went knowing the greens were just punched - thats fine, but contrary to what the guy in the proshop said, the greens looked to be pretty beat up underneath the top dressing. Overall I'd say the course conditions were the worst I've seen it, and I've played it many times in the summer. Tee boxes were beat up, fairways had TONS of dead spots and around almost every green were numerous portions of unplayable areas (although unmarked). Bunkers are often thin here, but they were VERY thin this time around. Unfortunately Las Sendas seems to get worse every year... which stinks, as its a great layout.

One of the worst run businesses I have had the misfortune to use. First, no choice but to use "Golf Now.com" to make the tee time. When I get to the course, I am charged again. ( It is not unusual for me for a course to take a credit card to hold the time and then charge at the course.) The guy at the counter just charged me without asking. I was told the starter would need to see my receipt.

Next, I had a 7:50am tee time. I was joining three others as a single. The young man at the bag drop told me the others had not checked in yet. I hit some balls, putted, chipped and went back to the bag drop. I was told one guy had not yet checked in. At 7:54 I asked if they were running behind as I had not been called to the tee. He said no, so I drove to the first tee. The starter told me that the foursome had already teed off! He also said there was a fifth (actually SIXTH) person he had to put in a group after them. I went back to the clubhouse/main counter.

The starter was called and is seems the "foursome" had only paid for TWO of the four tee times. He had allowed them to go off without paying! I had paid TWICE and didn't get called to the tee. The guy in charge told me I could go off at a different time...about ONE HOUR later then my original time. I said no and I wanted a refund. Then...

...he said they had voided my charge as my payment was with GolfNow. I asked for the receipt for the void and was told he had "thrown it away". the finally found it in the trash. I asked how to get a refund from GolfNow. I was informed that it was MY responsibility to call them. THAT was another story! Twenty-five minutes on the phone with a person I could not understand to get the money back.

I was not offered any compensation for THEIR mistake to make up for me coming there, paying twice, being pushed aside for people that did not even pay! NOTHING. Just, "We're sorry."

What a joke this place is. No respect for a customer...I LOCAL customer. I will NEVER go there again and will do what I can to make sure no one I know does either.

Early TT, but everything was ready. Nice Layout with wide Fairways. From some Tee Boxes you must have some length if you don‘t, trouble is waiting…😜

Great course. Extremely disappointed there was no inclusion of punched and sanded greens on GN, as well as on their website. Had I know the greens would be punched and sanded, I would not have played here. I believe it is the Pro Shop Staff’s responsibility to update the golfer on the “Course Conditions” of the day. Very disappointed.

Unfortunately, they had punched the greens the day before. I was not aware of that and paid too much for greens that were un-puttable. The greens were not very well sanded, with many divots from the aeration. The fairways were fair with missing grass because of the limited water allowed. This course has really nice views and unique holes that make me want to play it often. It is a playable but challenging course. Driver is not the best option from every tee. I will play it again but not until the greens are back in shape.

Easily one of the better courses in the Mesa area. Fun layout with beautiful designs on every hole. Staff was friendly. Course was in overall good shape. Bermuda was coming in so some of the fairways were rough in patches as were the greens but overall pretty good. Definitely one I’ll keep repeating as it’s simply a fun course to play.

Two Gentlemen on Vacation from Oregon were good company.

This track used to be one of my favorites. But now the condition of the course is absolutely brutal! There is some type of disease going on with the fairways and greens. My round cost me 59$ and Mormon would say what a great deal! I wouldn’t pay 25$ for the condition it’s in! Good luck Las Sendas. I hope you figure out what’s attacking your turf and conquer it! So I can get back to trying to conquer La Sendas

Recently I played twice at Las Sendas, both times I have play the condition of about 1/4 of the tee boxes were below averag, all the sandtraps I had the pleasure of being in were in poor conidition, the sand was hard, making it a challenge to hit out of. The grass on many of the fairways was thin, making it difficult to strike the ball cleanly. I paid $66.00 to play, which seem high for the conitions.
