Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed Las Sendas Golf Club's course, opened in 1995 and among the toughest U.S. courses. Two Zagat surveys have ranked it among the top 50 U.S. golf courses.
Las Sendas Golf Club offers a desert course demanding top play as it takes golfers through the Usery Mountains, with a vista of Phoenix as the tradeoff for managing rough land close to 1,800 feet above the desert. Jones didn't create a course with whimsical decorations like railroad ties, and he didn't build targets. The golf course is for those who strategize, mapping the way from tee to green.

Come play me!
This course is well worth the price of admission. Course conditions were excellent the weather was excellent and the staff was also excellent. The hot dogs at the halfway house were delicious and the attendant there was young and charming. I played there 25 years ago and I don't know why I waited so long to return.

One of the best for the money
The course layout is challenging but fair. The course conditions absolutely fantastic. The bunkers could use sand instead of whatever is in there.
The staff was as friendly as any could ever be. Oh yes, the hot dog at the halfway house fabulous.

Amazing!
Played this course for the first time but would love to go back! Was told it was difficult but I didn’t find it too challenging and played the tees for my skill level. Beautiful course. Best course conditions I played in the area. Greens were super firm but as long as you were aware of that you can adjust your game for that. Can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend this course! Was amazing value as well. Cheapest course I played and the nicest.
