Cloudy and cool round
Temps in 80's most of round. Greens back tio almost normal but bunkers a little wet since was early. Will play here until rates go up.
Golf Round
Great day of golf. Hadn't play course in over 10 years and it did not disappoint. Great condition. Keep up the great work.
True summer Gen
I normally Play at Mesa County Club, however we are closed this summer for major renovations so I’ve had to find other places to play. Longbow by far is I. The best condition of any public course I’ve played in Arizona this summer. The green speed are running slow for this course about an 11 but it’s a great speed. They actually have turf in the fairway. It was such a joy to hit a ball off their grass. Everyone was friendly from the bag drop to the inside staff. If I lived closer to the course I would consider making it my home course.
Won’t honor golf now hot deal tee time
Golf now showed a discounted price for a tee time at 2:42 for $21.99. When I got to the course, which the only reason I went was because it was so discounted, they refused to honor it. What a joke.
Good Course
The golf course is in pretty good shape. There were some "bald" spots in some of the fairways, but not many. Some of the bunkers needed some work. The greens rolled well, but were inconsistent.
Az summer with no water
Overall course was great, but 18 holes of golf in the summer…in Az, water should be available for drinking on every couple of holes.
No water available…they give you water before you start, but you will very quickly go through that…would like to think that they’d like you to come out and play 18, but not having any water coolers makes me think they don’t care if you have water or not.
Will definitely play again, but will bring my own water.
Greens improving
Another 2-3 weeks until the greens smooth out. Fairways are much greener compared to mid-June.
Early morning tee time was fantastic
The greens were aired and bumpy but the course was laid out nice
