About
The Arizona Golf Resort is home to a golf school and a challenging 18-hole course. The golf course is known for its difficult and scenic par-3 holes. It is has a traditional layout that features large, subtly sloped greens that are guarded by bunkers. Stately cottonwood and eucalyptus trees line the generous fairways. Lakes form water hazards that come into play on five holes and there is also native rough throughout the course. With four sets of tee boxes, the course offers a suitable challenge for players of all skill levels. In addition to the course and the school, the Arizona Golf Resort has a putting green and chipping area as well.

Nice place to play a round of golf. Everyone is friendly and the course is challenging enough for the weekend warrior.
Beautiful Day for Golf
Golf course staff was very professional and handled a small glitch. Course was in good condition, could use re-seeding in various areas. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Lack of empathy
I'm almost 64 years old. About halfway through the front nine, I pulled a muscle in my back. Painfully I finished the front nine but could not finish the 18 hole round. I asked the pro shop employee for a raincheck for the other nine holes but he stated he was not authorized to give one. Essentially it cost me approx $65 for nine holes. I don't think I will be returning to this course again. Fairly new to AZ. Maybe no course would have given a raincheck. Things happen even on a golf course and the establishment should do better at taking care of the customer.
Perhaps call the GM at the course and explain your situation. The person in the Pro Shop may just have been following orders.

100% improvement
This course has come a long ways since last year when we swore never to play there again! 100% better, still has room in the areas off the fairways, but fairways green and tees were great! Wii be back

Too expensive
Course conditions were not great. Too expensive for conditions & layout. Greens were good. Beverage cart gal was very nice.

First time playing the course. Pretty flat course with only a couple of memorable holes. The course was in so so condition. The greens were somewhat shaggy and on the slow side.

Overbooked!
Completely overbooked. Tee time 1:44 and didn't tee off until 2:25! Therefore never finished round. There should be a refund!!!

So so so bad
I have given this place a chance twice this month now and both times I have been beyond disappointed. I have never had to leave a golf course in the hundreds of times I have played golf and 2/2 I have had to leave this course. Both times we did not have carts ready when we arrived for at least 15 minutes, then did not tee off for an additional 20+ minutes, and oh my god is pace of play slow. We waited minimum 10 minutes per hole on the teebox. This most recent time there appeared to be an error where they were booking tee times every other minute. IT TOOK OVER 3 HOURS FOR THE FRONT NINE. ABSOLUTELY INSANE. Starter couldnt have been less helpful when he could have just sent us off the front twice instead of refusing to with no reasoning because there were no tee times and instead sending us off the back and continuing the torture. Horrible horrible horrible

Waited until 3:30 pm to tee off.
Course was backed up and was only able to play 12 holes. Paid for 18. 🥵👎
