Arizona Golf Resort

I have given this place a chance twice this month now and both times I have been beyond disappointed. I have never had to leave a golf course in the hundreds of times I have played golf and 2/2 I have had to leave this course. Both times we did not have carts ready when we arrived for at least 15 minutes, then did not tee off for an additional 20+ minutes, and oh my god is pace of play slow. We waited minimum 10 minutes per hole on the teebox. This most recent time there appeared to be an error where they were booking tee times every other minute. IT TOOK OVER 3 HOURS FOR THE FRONT NINE. ABSOLUTELY INSANE. Starter couldnt have been less helpful when he could have just sent us off the front twice instead of refusing to with no reasoning because there were no tee times and instead sending us off the back and continuing the torture. Horrible horrible horrible

Started 45 minutes late and took over 5 hours. Staff didn't seem concerned.

Tee time was 2:16 pm

Course did not have enough carts to give out.

Waited until 3:30 pm to tee off.

Course was backed up and was only able to play 12 holes. Paid for 18. 🥵👎

Played Feb 19. Had an 11:28 tee time, pro shop said they were on time when we checked in, but we didn't get out until noon. Then we proceeded to wait on every single hole! It was a full 5 hour round. The course apparently had booked 5 groups before us at 1 minute intervals. Said it was a computer error, so not their fault. Stuff like this happens, but own the mistake. Worst pace of play we have ever seen here.

Booked for my brothers birthday. Was very concerned after reading some of the yelp reviews but shouldn’t have read them. Course was in great condition, a life spongey areas from water and rain, but grass was green. Greens played well and offered a good challenge. Group of 4 looks forward to playing again soon.

Only part that isn’t great is that the range is limited to 250 so no driver practice.

Due to early morning frost tee times delayed for an hour. Minor delayed throughout the round but nothing to complain about. The greens were nice and rolled true. Would definitely play here again.

Started late due to frost delay. Course was not in good shape with unintentional water hazards in some of the fairways. Greens were slow like just overseeded. Inside staff were rude when checking in but outdoor staff were all friendly. Would not play again even with the hot deal.

One of the worst courses I have ever played. I realize the Phoenix area has had quite a bit of rain this year but that has been days ago. This course was like it had dumped 2 inches the night before. Nothing but water and mud holes. The ball never got a chance to roll anywhere. Between wet everwhere and the clumps of grass in the fairways and on the fringes good luck having any kind of a decent round. This course is not a good deal at any price.

It was a beautiful day and the course was in pretty good shape. And of course it was a little wet, it rained for 4 days. But other then that we had a good time.

1st time back in years. Course is in much better condition. Booked a 4pm tee time. Didnt get a cart till 4pm. Course was over booked and playing slow. Lots of water. Looks like they ran sprinklers diring all of our rain. Overall looks like its turning around to be a good course again. Only got in 9 holes.

I was very impressed even though it has rained so much the past week! We teed off at 7:28 and it did not feel like we were in AZ, it was freezing! The course was in great shape and requires you to work the ball both ways off the tee box! If you miss a green you better be able to chip because the greens are fairly small. We had a great time and I also wanted to give out a shout to Wally for addressing our needs as he was exceptional with his customer service. Wally is the Man!!!

People nice. Pace was great. Course in good shape will all.rain lately

Cow pasture would be accurate description. Course is very rough shape. Save your money and go to The Duke or any other course.

First time I used GolfNow and it will be the last! I paid more and when one person had to cancel last minute it was difficult to get my money back! GolfNow offers no value added! Call the course directly and pay less and have more flexibility! Sadly I was dupes into using GolfNow because the course website directed me to them to book and I thought I was on the course’s platform!

Got a last min deal on golfnow good value for the $ normally course is too expensive for what you get.

I have played this course regularly for the past 7 years. New management this is committed to improving the course's overall condition and it is working. Fairways and tee boxes are the best they have been in 5 years. Greens have always been average to slightly above average. Good value in golfing.
