Golfer Reviews
That time of year
First time in six months I didn’t have mud on the ball. That’s because we are entering the dry hard brown part of the season. Prepare for runout. And yet the greens are still good. Twilight rate is a bargain even dry and brown.
Good price from Golf Now for todays round.
I paid $40 on a hot deal. This was fair. This course still needs some cleaning up. Lots of dead grass areas and dirt. Traps were rock hard. Its a good layout, but needs some TLC. Greens were OK
I know its the desert but dang
Way to much dirt. Tree stumps as obstacles.
Just not what I was looking for. Greens were extremely hard and bouncy.
course not in great shape
I thought that since they recently changed the name to this course, the conditions would be better. However, there were lots of wet spots from the sprinklers, and hardly any fairway grass to be found . Played off of dirt half the time (and not because I am an ok golfer)
Better than expected
With the Bermuda coming in the course is getting better! Greens were receptive, lightning fast and fun!
Getting there
I played Saturday afternoon as a twosome. Course is still in need of some TLC. Found myself in dirt patches off the fairway and in the fairway. It's playable if you improve your lies to the grass. Greens were average.
Danger!! Bring your own water!! No cart service after 10:30AM!!
It was 97 degrees and there was no beverage cart service at all from our tee time at 10:45 to the end at 3PM!! This is dangerous!! Dehydration is a serious concern here in the desert!! They told us the cart lady takes off at noon because" there are no golfers in the afternoon". We never saw her at all!!We were stacked up all afternoon!! People were still going out after we got done! This is irresponsible!!
The green condition was not good
Tee-off was at 9:20 AM. The fairway was damp in some areas, and there were marks on the green where someone had struck down. The hole cups also showed signs of being disturbed by someone
