About
Located in Mesa, Desert Sand Golf Course is an executive length course with a short layout that is most suitable for beginners, but it is also a good place for golfers of all skill levels to work on their short game skills. Due to its flat terrain, the course is easy to walk with few elevation changes. The greens are remarkably fast and water hazards come into play on five holes. There are also sand bunkers scattered throughout the course. The Desert Sand Golf Course facility offers a chipping area and putting green and it is also home to a golf school.

Slow Play
By the time you get to back 9 there are 2-3 groups on a tee. In addition the lack of a ranger maintaining pace is the problem

Location
Very slow play. Could not complete 18 holes, stopped at 10th hole, in order to keep afternoon appointment.
Very disappointed. I reluctantly answered yes to recommending to a friend.

Course is in great shape
Very good value for the money. Greens are in fine shape, challenging with humps and breaks.

Great executive course
The fairways are In great shape. The greens are getting softer and run true to the slope. Challenging greens. Great course to work on your short game.

I understand with COVID the grooming staff may be short handed. The only thing was the tees needed cutting and the fringe around the greens could be shorter. But, it is so nice to walk into a clubhouse and see it busy and the staff accommodating…tells the golfers this is a great place to golf. Thank you everyone for your hard work and dedication..
