About
The East Valley's Superstition Springs Golf Club offers one of Arizona's most testing layouts, measuring over 7,000 yards, with a slope rating of 130. Golf course architect Greg H. Nash designed the course and worked with the landscape already in place to provide the abundant mounding, wide bunkers and good-looking but tough-playing water features.
By the time he had finished with the Superstition Springs Golf Club, Nash had created a golf course that Golfweek called one of America's Best Golf Courses.
After - or before - a round of golf at the Superstition Springs Golf Club, hit up the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or drinks either inside or on the patio, which overlooks the golf course's signature hole, the ninth.

In terrible shape
Excellent tees, greens and diversity of holes.
Course is a mud track with smelly water, concrete traps, and bare land even in fairways. Terrible.
Worse course I have played for years
Would not go back w free coupon but regrettably paid $77
Excellent greens
Have played this course since it opened in 1985. Had not played in the last 3 years due to it usually being in poor condition. But today the greens were immaculate the fairways have decent grass and Bermuda is still dormant due to the weather. We had the course to ourselves at 1:00 pm so obviously pace of play was great 3 hours. Got a great deal on TeeOff and would highly recommend this course to anyone right now
Very Disappointing
Bunkers were terrible no sand.
Garbage everywhere! No extra effort put into maintaining landscape ties or anything. Played this course about 20 years and wished I could have kept that memory and not the disgrace it is now.
Lots of dry and dying grass
Barren hills and poor condition fairways. Tee boxes and greens were tolerable. Pace of play was pathetic. I’ve played there since it opened. I’ve never seen it in this bad of condition.
Bowls of Greens
Superstition Springs is a challenging course with small greens steeply perched above the "flood control" fairways. It's got a few tricky tee shots too (#5, #12, #14). Overall it's a really great track that I enjoy playing. Grass is usually in great shape from tee to green, with a few exceptions on the front 9.
Pace of Play
You need to be more serious about making slow players speed up, IE, make them move up tee boxes etc. Can you PLEASE help us play a bit faster round. Thank y ou.
The course has great features
The course was very good. Deceptively challenging.

Best course ive played in Arizona
This course was in the best condition out of any course Ive played (of the affordable ones). The fairways and greens were spectacular and the layout was super fun and challenging. Definitely a steal of a deal at the price it is at right now!
Course if in great shape.
Tee boxes, fairway’s and greens are in excellent shape.
Course is very green and saw many tee boxes and fairways being watered.
Clean up front 9
I have played this course for years. I just feel like they need to clean up the front 9 a little better and the bunkers need a lot of work. It is like bottling out of hard pan dessert.
Great course
My wife and I played this course for the first time on Saturday and we both loved it. Staff were very friendly, price was good and the course was in nice shape and we loved the layout.
We were paired up with a local resident (Mike) who was great to golf with and helped with some pointers getting around the course.
We will definitely golf this course again when we come back next year.
