Rating 73.0

The East Valley's Superstition Springs Golf Club offers one of Arizona's most testing layouts, measuring over 7,000 yards, with a slope rating of 130. Golf course architect Greg H. Nash designed the course and worked with the landscape already in place to provide the abundant mounding, wide bunkers and good-looking but tough-playing water features.

By the time he had finished with the Superstition Springs Golf Club, Nash had created a golf course that Golfweek called one of America's Best Golf Courses.

After - or before - a round of golf at the Superstition Springs Golf Club, hit up the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or drinks either inside or on the patio, which overlooks the golf course's signature hole, the ninth.

Don’t waste your money

The course has a decent layout, but the conditions were not very good. The greens are in good shape, but some of the smallest greens I’ve ever played on.

Almost all of the sand traps have minimal sand and ridiculous to play out of.

The fairways are dry and dead and you’ll be searching for grass to hit off of.

We played fairly quick, but spend your money somewhere else.

It was one and done for us. Back to places like Whirlwind where the Troon Golf Is always in great shape.

Not worth the $$$$

Typical Arizona burned out course but to charge $70 way to take advantage of the Father’s Day rush. Bunkers are like wet cement, greens were decent but that was about it

Superstition Springs

The layout of this course is fun and has nice variety. The main areas of the course are in good shape (tees, fairways, greens). The rest of the course is dried out and hard. If you miss the fairway you will be hitting off of hard pan. If you hit into any bunker be prepared for no sand, only dirt that is extremely hard packed. Best to chip out with a club that has low bounce. The greens, on the other hand, are in excellent condition. They don’t roll real fast, but they roll very nicely. They are also very receptive and you can spin your ball on good shots. Not worth paying a real high green fee, but if you can find a good deal it’s worth playing.

Always Lush

This course is always so green and full! It's a difficult track with challenging holes but really does play well. Pace of play was slow but that was just because I was unlucky with who was in front of me, nothing to do with the course.

Staff is always awesome, helpful and friendly and the amenities are very nice.

I would highly recommend d the course pro as well, Alex really knows his stuff and has helped me immensely!
