About
The East Valley's Superstition Springs Golf Club offers one of Arizona's most testing layouts, measuring over 7,000 yards, with a slope rating of 130. Golf course architect Greg H. Nash designed the course and worked with the landscape already in place to provide the abundant mounding, wide bunkers and good-looking but tough-playing water features.
By the time he had finished with the Superstition Springs Golf Club, Nash had created a golf course that Golfweek called one of America's Best Golf Courses.
After - or before - a round of golf at the Superstition Springs Golf Club, hit up the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or drinks either inside or on the patio, which overlooks the golf course's signature hole, the ninth.

Great shape, just don't play late in the day
The course was in great condition. Best grass in phoenix area courses, I wasn't going to play due to the poor reviews, but the course was in excellent shape. ALL bunkers in AZ have sand/gravely- not true soft sand and alot on this course, but fun to have a plan before hitting. The pace was crazy on the back- 2 groups waiting and finished in just under 5hours.
Fun course. The only complaint would be the speed of the greens. Very slow but in great shape.
Fun afternoon
Played with a friend from out of town. Fairways were nice, greens were ok. Traps were poor.
2022 Superstition Springs
Hadn't been here for a couple years. No book or map and the suggested app for course layout didn't work - would've made a difference in club selection. Need to know where water and creeks run. Water, deep bunkers, plus postage stamp greens surrounded by occasional thick rough made course different from other desert courses in the area. Lots of flop shots and no bump & run.
Course in terrible shape worst bunker I've played in ..Brought out friends and was disappointed
