Painted Mountain Golf Club
About
The Painted Mountain Golf Club is a challenging desert-style course with a variety of different tees to accommodate every age group and skill level. The course offers a lengthier challenge from the first hole, a par-5 dogleg right, to the last, which requires an approach shot over water in order to reach the green. The Painted Mountain Golf Club, in addition to the course, is also home to the John Jacob's Golf School.

green conditions Photo submitted by u000003377470 on 10/21/2019
The course allow slow slow fivesomes
The course has a Marshall that does nothing to control the pace of play. We had three groups on every hole on the entire back 9. Very slow play due to fivesomes…
Second time back
I just like this course… it reminds of an old country club something we lack in the valley…. The only thing I would offer a negative opinion on is that the tee boxes need some love
average at best, overpriced
blocks were hacked up, and uneven, lots of ground under repair, green airation made them slow, and very bumpy
Overpriced
Very overpriced for what it is. No driving range and the course was choppy. Inconsistent greens and tee boxes. Layout isn’t very good. Very narrow and some tee boxes are behind the previous green so if someone over shoots, you can get hit
Painted Mountain Golf
Started late and play was slow. Houses too close to fairways. The good, course was well kept staff was friendly
Better Than Last Year
Played there a number of times last year and was disappointed with the course condition. Greens were rough, bumpy, and had grass kill spots on them. Fairwasy neede some work as well. Pace of play was als slow too. MUch better this year............go play it.
Not happy
40 minutes delay due to wet course. Very slow players and Marshal did NOTHING. Could not finish by sunset. Course is very beat up.
Had a good time
The course was in good shape, greens were all good. I would visit this course again.
The course was a little beaten up. Fairways were uneven and had large patches of brown grass or dirt. The staff was friendly. No driving range. Pace of play was a little slow but not surprising for this time of year. $60 for a round of golf was fair.
Disappointed
Course was good. We got off around 4:15pm and the pro shop was closed, the restaurant and patio was also closed. Not sure when the pro shop usually closes but our wife's wanted to do some shopping but they couldn't. The restaurant and patio was supposed to be open until 9 pm according to their website, that was one of the reasons we booked this course. Very disappointing at the end of the round.
Disaster
Play PM before and it was in excellent shape. Have to say PM should be ashamed to charge that kind of money for a course in that condition. Tee boxes were horrible, some fairways in the middle had bald spots and dirt, around the edges looked like weeds growing in the field. I would not recommend or plan on attending this golf course again. I will say the only redeeming value was the greens were pretty good. do not waste your money, "even to just go out and have fun"
4 hour Round. Just fine.
Played with my wife and 2 kids. Played in 4 hours with a little waiting. Nothing difficult- conditions are equivalent to price.
