About
The course at Stonecreek Golf Club has a traditional links-style layout that meanders through Paradise Valley, providing stunning mountain vistas to the south and west. The golf course has undergone several renovations since its opening and the result is superb round of golf in a beautiful setting. The hilly fairways and fast greens are immaculate and well manicured. Water hazards come into play on five holes. There are also bunkers strategically placed throughout the course. Stonecreek Golf Club also has convenient practice facilities including a putting green and chipping area. There is also a pro shop and professional golf instructors on the premises.

Greens where fast; fairways ok for summertime…it’s hot here so not the best time of the year for the grass to grow in fully due to heat. All in all pretty good shape.

jeffrust, thanks for the feedback. We understand the concern and are actively working to refresh our range balls—many do get lost in the creek and due to this nearly all of our range balls are fresh out of the vendors boxes. We appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again.
Disappointed
Small bucket of range balls $16. Practice range - worn out mats in bad shape. All tee boxes looked like nobody has moved them in a week, bad shape. Fairways and greens were in decent shape. I will not be playing here anytime soon.

Was a fan, but...
I've always liked Stonecreek and thought it was always a great deal for the price. I was VERY excited when they cleaned out the creek beds and thought more improvements were on the way. Well, months have passed and the conditions seem to be deteriorating rather than improving. I'd like to return to play there some day but I don't think it will be for quite some time.

Stonecreek GC
We noticed that the fairways have very tight lies. You have definitely have to strike “ball first” or the club tends to bounce on you. Greens are small and the course favors strategic shot placement. Other than that it’s a nice challenge.
The staff is friendly and the accommodations are very nice.

It has always been a nice course to play, but this time 3 or 4 holes had been aerated in the fairways and the plugs filled the fairway which made play kind of difficult. The price should have been reduced just because of that situation.

Course is always in horrible shape. They get by simply on location and visitors not knowing better.

I have never seen a course in worse shape than Stone Creek. Tee boxes were a mess, the fairways need watered desperately and the greens are terrible. Looks like the course has given up on any kind of maintenance. We got ripped off for $120 each to golf this mess. Very disappointing.

Recent reviews were not accurate with the conditions as the greens were very hard and some just not good at all. Fairways were in rough shape as they too need water!

What a terrible disappoint. The course is in terrible shape. Not looked after or maintained. Should have clued in on the practice range as you couldn't find a level spot to hit off of.
The fairways are dirt and the greens are very rough. The tee boxes were a mess with tees littered all over and you had to hunt for level ground to hit off.
Too bad as the lay out has potential but this course is in BAD shape and needs a lot of work to be playable again. We felt very ripped off playing here and will never golf here again.
On a bright note, the staff were very friendly and the beer was cold.
