About
The course at Stonecreek Golf Club has a traditional links-style layout that meanders through Paradise Valley, providing stunning mountain vistas to the south and west. The golf course has undergone several renovations since its opening and the result is superb round of golf in a beautiful setting. The hilly fairways and fast greens are immaculate and well manicured. Water hazards come into play on five holes. There are also bunkers strategically placed throughout the course. Stonecreek Golf Club also has convenient practice facilities including a putting green and chipping area. There is also a pro shop and professional golf instructors on the premises.

For Canadians
the greens are small, the fairways are tight. The 1st time walking the course - easy walking course. Enjoyable round but a bit wet due to the rains on Sunday/ Monday. Overall great course layout. Better than shoveling snow.
OK course
It had rained the day prior so it was cart path only. Not many people there, I assume because of possibility of rain. We had good weather and we’re able to play 18 in just over 3 hours.

Best Pace ever with no wait!
Never had to wait for the group in front of us. Such a great course challenging and fun!!

Garbage dump
I liked the layout and the greens were fine but were completely distracted by the amount of garbage in the trees and bushes along the course. Disappointing

good greens but tight fairways need to pick up garbage along flood way creek but overalll great course compared to my home course in canada

Slow Pace of Play and on course amenities
There are no ball washers on the course or the carts. Also, at the turn they put a 6-some in front of us. Yes, I said a 6-some.

Slow play
Nice layout and forgiving fairways. Good course to play for ave golfer. However, that's no excuse for a 5+ hr round. Course was extremely wet as well. Will play elsewhere for similar $$.

We did like the layout of the course butt believe that the course is lacking in maintenance (realize that it is early in the season for the Phoenix area)
A major cleanup is required on the front 9 where the garbage has piled up in the wash area just right of the 8th green and the 9th tee box.. This is not appealing especially for a golf course asking a premium price tag.
Also found it very unnerving around the 2nd green with golf balls landing around us from the driving range.
Staff in the proshop and the restaurant were all very pleasant to deal with.

Great until we hit the turn
Had the 1st 7:15 am tee time and zipped around the front side in 1 1/2 hours. Then when we hit the back, the course let slow players out on the back side and we had to wait on every hole thereafter. Not fair when you get up that early to get a quick round in and then they let sleepyheads off in front of you. They had NO CLUE as to what ready golf means. Everybody standing around clueless! Won't be going back!

Course was somewhat good and bad
The rough of shrubs make it impossible to find your ball if you miss hit. They need to trim up those shrubs so you can actually find your ball. The tee boxes were torn up not maintained very well. Parts of the course were like dirt hitting off them. I think the course could be really good with just a little more TLC

Upgrades at Stonecreek!
Stonecreek is in excellent condition after a very successful overseeding. But the great surprise is brand new carts and fresh sand in all bunkers! Pace of play a little slow.
