Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club

First timer at Dove Valley but will play it again. The course is in very good shape greens rolled true.. small challenges in the right spots kept it fun..

Other than my personal game, DV continues to provide a good track to play with a few challenges. The bunkers remain one area that needs deep raking and constant maintenance. Despite the cart GPS, I would like reflectors on the sticks for my laser gun.

As an aside, the fish and chips were very goodl other than the number of pieces of fish -- should be four with 1/2 the amountr of fries, especially for a nearly $14 meal. ("J" by the way, was very good to us.)

Need shorter tees for older people to enjoy more/5000 yards and less

This is our third time playing Dove Valley. I have to admit that it is not incredibly memorable. We actually forgot that we had played it before (twice):). When we got there it all came back to us. We completely enjoy the course. There is enough challenge. The conditions are good not great. Keep your ball on the fairway as the rough after reseeding is brown and not great. The greens are good. They had rolled them before we played so they were pretty fast - you really had to pay attention to breaks, up vs downhill, and grain or you might miss by a good deal. I personally like this kind of green.

I decided to play all the way back. I think it was a mistake as I was not hitting very straight. This together with the wind made it pretty hard. I should have stuck with the blue - would have saved me a bit of frustration, but all my fault. I think the tee box distances make the course a good challenge for all levels.

We had a drink and appetizers after our round. Happy hour prices made it a good deal.

I am sure we will play there again. I hope that we will not forget again!
