About
Robert Trent Jones II designed the golf course at Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club, creating a championship course to shift gently from open play to intimate foliage along Willow Wash. The golf delivers Southwestern authenticity, with etroglyph-etched boulders marking holes. It differs from the "target" golf courses of Arizona in that it features player-friendly golf, manicuring transition spaces so that golfers face minimal penalty when recovering.

Another nice day at Dove Valley!
This is our third time playing Dove Valley. I have to admit that it is not incredibly memorable. We actually forgot that we had played it before (twice):). When we got there it all came back to us. We completely enjoy the course. There is enough challenge. The conditions are good not great. Keep your ball on the fairway as the rough after reseeding is brown and not great. The greens are good. They had rolled them before we played so they were pretty fast - you really had to pay attention to breaks, up vs downhill, and grain or you might miss by a good deal. I personally like this kind of green.
I decided to play all the way back. I think it was a mistake as I was not hitting very straight. This together with the wind made it pretty hard. I should have stuck with the blue - would have saved me a bit of frustration, but all my fault. I think the tee box distances make the course a good challenge for all levels.
We had a drink and appetizers after our round. Happy hour prices made it a good deal.
I am sure we will play there again. I hope that we will not forget again!
Bunkers need sand
Enjoyed our time on Saturday afternoon pace a little over four hours. But not bad for a weekend. Greens and fairways in great shape but the bunkers are difficult to manage without enough sand.
Dove valley review
Everything was great. The course, play was good and the price was very good compared to hese other courses that I believe are gouging people
North Valley Course Worth the Play
Overall, DV continues to provide a great venue for golf. Many improvements over the years.
Dove valley is bought and fun
Had fun with four North Slope friends. Thought it was fun. Need to know the course to shoot good.. Similar to Longbow in Mesa.

Great track and conditions are perfect....speedy greens.....bunkers need more sand otherwise love the course.
Beer Prices
Everything was great as we had not been in awhile now living on far west side. Perfect shape and everyone was very helpful.
Only complaint was beer Prices at $6 !

Great value
Course was in exceptional shape especially the greens. Our foursome played in 3.50 hours. Very enjoyable day.
