South at Antelope Hills Golf Course
About
The South Course is a links style track, giving Prescott the distinction of having what Veach calls "an almost British Open feel" course in the middle of the desert. It offers views of the towering mountains that help provide Prescott with its temperate temperatures from several holes.

Thank you
Very friendly staff, course was in great shape. Came in as a single and enjoyed the two people I was teamed up with. I look forward to playing here again. Thank you!
Course in good shape
Played 2 days in a row
Everything great only one negative would be both days people playing doing the sharing of clubs. Only had one set of clubs for 2 people and this really slows play. Other than that all was great and will play again
NIce place, very enjoyable
The course was in good shape, the greens were great; smooth and predictable, just a touch fast, which didn't bother me. spacious fairways a nice clubhouse, what's not to like. Pace of play was not good, over four and a half hours, the locals tell me there is no ranger.
Reilly trip to Antelope Hills
First time to play south course. First, it's February, so not optimum conditions. I found the course infinitely playable. Good lies in fairways and the greens terrific.
Greens very tricky but in great shape for this time of year.
Course is great
Course is in great shape greens are great as always
Nice Muni
Nice faculty , very open compared to the north course! Wind can increase it's challenge! Overall great course , reasonable price!
cost
Golf Now gave us a price of $82.00 due at course. Antelope hills charged us $88.84, this was very misleading. we could have paid the same amount if we just called the course.
Nice course, unfriendly staff.
Considering the time of year (March at 5000 ft elevation), the course was in very nice shape. However, if you needed something to drink or a bite to eat you need to get it before you go out or on the term. We saw the cart lady once and all she had were drinks. No food. If you are looking for friendly staff you might reconsider. The staff in the pro shop are not nice, unsmiling and generally are just there to take your money. Having played this course many times I have reached the end of my rope with the poor pro shop attitudes. I will be golfing somewhere else from now on.
The greens were great
Course layout is good, but the greens were great. Speed of greens was very fast and rolling really well.
Review north
This course was in great condition. Challenging with all the trees but fair. Can't wait to get up to Prescott and play here again.
AH Spouth Course--great experience
Clear skies, bright sun, no wind--well groomed course, good partners.
Hard to beat on a Friday afternoon.
AH South Course--great experience
Clear skies, no wind, warm day: manicured course, fast greens--tough to beat a round like this with a good friend and a couple of other guys. Course was in good shape, pace was smooth, fairways are wide, greens slick. Worst problem--rain put water in bottoms of bunkers (but we were lucky--never hit a bunker).
Great Saturday
It was cloudy and 80 degrees for our round so we couldn't ask for better weather. Course was in great shape and greens rolled very well. We played in under 4 hours. Course was busy early but thinned out after 9 am. We had an 11 am time but got out a half hour early as they had openings.
the fairways need work on the north course
great layout old style with tree lined fairways. good food, friendly staff.
Quality Experience
Great Course, Quality Rates, 2 Separate 18 Holes to Chose From.. Would Definitely Recommend
A nice change from the heat of the valley!
Breezy as all get out but nice enough for the dollars
Expected More......
Tee time was 12:52 arrived early to stretch out and warm up after the 1 hour and a half drive from Phoenix. No real starter and seemed like people were just going out. Had to go ask if we were up on the tee. Course was in fair condition. I expected a lot nicer judging by the photos I have seen. Greens were nice, except they leave in 3 or 4 alternate hole possitions and cover them with a felt circle. This was strange to me and can really get you offline. Pace of play was pretty slow, 4hr 45min round. Course has some fun holes. Just overall I expected the course and conditions to be better. Stoneridge is a far superior course for around the same price.
Sure glad I didn't pay full price what a joke.
I've been playing this course since I was 16 and this is the worst conditions I've ever seen the north course in the fairways are a joke even for winter conditions. The only thing it has going for it right now are the greens.
I was also told by the clerk at the desk that the driving range will for now on be Irons only which was a bummer since I had bought a new driver and was not able to hit it till the first hole.
I will not be returning until conditions improve.
Just a little love even in the winter can make all the difference for this course. It's just sad.
