South at Antelope Hills Golf Course
About
The South Course is a links style track, giving Prescott the distinction of having what Veach calls "an almost British Open feel" course in the middle of the desert. It offers views of the towering mountains that help provide Prescott with its temperate temperatures from several holes.

My favorite public course
Really hot and windy for our play. Greens were in great shape, fairways are coming along, while some of the teeboxes still need work. We played as a twosome and completed in 3-1/2 hours. I always recommend this course.
First time
Greens are in great shape, everything is was in good shape, nothing terrible about the course. I would play it again.
Great day overall
Beautiful day and generally good conditions throughout the course.
Course staff very friendly and helpful for the most part. There was an episode at the very end of our round involving an outdoor staff member that, in my opinion, was totally avoidable but occurred nonetheless. Feels like possibly a new staff member going way above and beyond their "authority," which happens time to time. No sweat though... I'm sure he will settle once encounters a few more groups that my be less welcoming than ours 😂
Nice course
It was slow play but over all a nice day on the course.
Always Enjoyable
Best Value around, very busy. There was a 5-some (I'm guessing they went off as a 3 &2 then joined up) in front of 4 2-somes so played very slow. NO BEVERAGE CART AGAIN
Fun course
Because this course is only 7 miles from me, I play it often. The super has done a great job with the greens and most of the fairways. This is just a small criticism, but it would be nice if the teeboxes could have the same attention paid to them. Some are very rough. We played as a two-some from a cart and despite the fact that we were behind a foursome, we completed in less than 4 hours.
Needs some work
Staff is wonderful and friendly. New carts are nice. Layout is average and the greens in good shape. The course conditioning;, fairways, bunkers and cart paths need attention. Pace was excellent. Wouldn’t take much to improve the playing conditions
Beautiful course, poor pace of play
First time golfing here, we loved the course. Grass is in phenomenal shape all around and greens were maintained. Staff was very friendly, especially the starter. Our only gripe is the pace of play. Our round took just under 5 hours. They really need a course ranger to maintain a decent pace of play. Two guys ahead of us were knuckleheads with no sense of golf etiquette
My Favorite public Course in the quad Cities
Always well maintained and reasonably priced. Challenging yet not a course that will vacuum up golf balls.
Somewhat disappointed
I've been playing this course on a regular basis for nearly 6 years and of the public courses in our area it remains my favorite. The greens have seen a dramatic improvement over the last few years. If they could just translate that improvement to the fairways and teeboxes. I'm definitely disappointed in the condition of the teeboxes. Despite the current shortcomings it's still my favorite and I would recommend it to anyone.
