About
The South Course is a links style track, giving Prescott the distinction of having what Veach calls "an almost British Open feel" course in the middle of the desert. It offers views of the towering mountains that help provide Prescott with its temperate temperatures from several holes.

Parts of the course were in fair condition, parts of the fairways were dead, the course is in need of upkeep.
My favorite public course
Antelope Hills South is by far my favorite public course in the area. That's why I was disappointed to see the condition of the fairways yesterday. In the 5 years I've been playing this course, I've never seen them so dry and brown. The greens were in excellent shape. Perhaps, the new maintenance manager can continue the improvements. In any case, I would still recommend the course.
Course condition awful
This used to be a nice, well kept course, but we played it yesterday and it is in terrible condtion. Brutal fairways , and greens. It appears they are letting this course go completley. Sad........
Course Should Not Let 5 somes out
It's a great place to play but it's already crowded without allowing groups of 5 to play. Especially seniors who are slow in the first place. I also understand from talking to other people, this course allows it for certain groups. Not cool.
Fun, but fair.
Fun round. Course is forgiving, but fair. Rewarded for hitting fairways, but still had a chance when you missed.
Blown Away
I had hopes for this course as it looked like it was in pretty good shape. The day started out pretty breezy about 11 AM and after the first few holes it was almost unplayable as it was so windy. Had this been my home course and seeing the wind driving up I just would’ve turned around and gone home… Being from out of town and having prepaid I didn’t have that choice. Thankfully, I was only playing nine holes as it was just no fun to see your ball blown 30 yards from where you hit it. Certainly not the fault of the course but I wish I hadn’t have pre-paid.
