About
The South Course is a links style track, giving Prescott the distinction of having what Veach calls "an almost British Open feel" course in the middle of the desert. It offers views of the towering mountains that help provide Prescott with its temperate temperatures from several holes.

Awesome staff and fun course played the South. Nice amateur friendly layout. In decent shape. Practice facilities were bad! Hitting of dirt on range and weeds all over practice green. Pace of play started slow but sped up on the back and finished in a reasonable amount of time. Will go back and want to try the North course were I am told is more of a challenge.

Torn up
Ball marks galore! Usually slow pace today not bad. They cram tee times 7 minutes apart. Typical Poo pop butt municipal course. You can play stoneridge for about the same money. Won’t play here again if I can help it.

Not the best condition
I’ve played this course a number of times but not sure it’s worth the price during the winter with the condition it’s in. Greens were either soggy or littered with divots. Pace of play was decent and the back nine was in better shape then the front.

Nice Course - Slow Pace of Play
We heard very good things about this course - and they were true. A moderate difficulty course in very good shape with excellent views. Excellent restaurant with both food and price. Staff was extremely friendly, but a bit overwhelmed as they were VERY behind - we teed off approximately 40 minutes after our 1:15 p.m. tee time. I understand walking is traditional, but there are too many walkers on this course who slow the pace of play on every hole. We were asked to leave the course on the 17th tee (allowed to play that hole). We could have finished our round in allotted time if pace of play was faster. Reason given was not because of darkness, but that they wanted the carts back at the barn. No starter at first tee and no direction from the staff as to pairings with other groups. They said they were behind due to "not enough carts" and "the morning groups played really slow." One Marshall for two courses - nice guy, and not his fault staff did not regulate tee times/pairings. We WILL BE BACK - it is too nice of a course to not give another try.

Pace!!!!!
This a fairly decent municipal course, but the pace of play makes the cost not worth the value. Having “five-somes” mixed in with older players (not an issue normally), and amateurs all over the course really slows down the any tempo or rhythm. The prices have gone way up over the last few years but the demand is obviously still there. Just very frustrating when there are 4 groups on one hole....even had 3 on one tee box at one point.

Good Prescott Course
Good Prescott course I play here once or twice a week and conditions are good. Pace of play is slow on the weekends and sand bunkers need some real sand other wise course is in great shape and staff are very friendly!!
