San Tan Highlands

Great course in excellent condition. Play it on a fairly regular basis and enjoy taking company there to watch their reaction.

The round was a good time. I found the course to be above average difficulty.

I hit my 1st ever Hole in One on the par 3 11th Hole. It's listed as 140 yards from the blue tees, but the day we played the pin was up front with a slight left to right wing across the hole. I hit a very light 9 iron slightly into the wind. Ball started left but the wind held it up and my ball bounced right at the front of the green and then dribbled twice before dropping into the cup.

The course is in great shape and very challenging. They have new golf carts and the pace of play was pretty decent - we saw the ranger twice on our round.

I love everything about this course.

Changed the courses name but still the same slow play!!! Round took 5 hours???? Waited on practically every shot all day. Saw the marshal several times but never came close enough to complain to. Had to be blind not to see the course backed up any. Has happened practically every time we’ve played there.

The lowland/highland layout is great. Pace of play is an issue. Ranger needs to be a bit more proactive.

Friendly and helpful staff and the course is in very good condition.

Bunkers could use some sand, greens were slow and pace of play needs a lot of work.

Nice course to play for amateurs. Lots of challenging holes, all the par 3 are reachable for amateurs as well

I like this course. The people are friendly, like the layout. But as usual, they were way behind. Tee time was 1:37pm, so I knew there was a chance I wouldn’t finish. Tee’d off at 2:05pm after the starter said they were on time. Pace of play was ridiculously slow, although the Ranger was working on speeding things up. You can only do so much, I realize that. Got 13 holes in. By way of comparison, played Lone Tree yesterday with a 1:20pm. Finished, had time for one or two more holes. Play Johnson Ranch, but don’t book past 1 pm.

Pace of play on the first 3 holes was slow, but picked up later. The tee time processing for Swing First Cardholders needs to be improved so pricing for the round is shown when making the reservation. For the price, the course is manicured well. Greens were very good.

This is a great course for the price, however, the pace of play could be improved along with sand in the bunkers. Greens were slow maybe due the recent seeding and aerating of the course.

The pace was slow. More than 5 hours for 18 on a Saturday afternoon. The cart paths need attention. The ground/gravel/grass don't match the level of the cement path in many areas and there is broken/cracked concrete. Going off the path with a wheel and you'll need 10 yards to get the wheel back on the path because of the difference in height. Also, there are changes in elevation near the greens that could cause walking accidents for older golfers. The overseeding was spotty in some areas. The course overall is nice to play.

The course is in great shape. The tee boxes need reworking but green are super nice. Very fun course with great views.

Not sure what course some of these reviewers are playing but the STH Course I play is in great shape, well taken care of. Pace of play depends what day but typically is around 4:15 with 4:30 the expectation. New carts, upgrades to the driving range coming, I highly recommend!
