Orange Tree Golf & Conference Resort
About
The course at the Orange Tree Golf Resort provides an excellent game of golf in a luxurious setting. The Parkland-style layout features fairways lined with mature trees, which not only enhance the natural beauty of the golf course but can also greatly affect shots. Four lakes are situated on the flat terrain of the course, providing water hazards that come into play on five holes. Sand bunkers also surround every green. Orange Tree Golf Resort's course finishes with its signature hole, where water cuts into the fairway and proceeds to run down the left side all the way to the green. It also requires accuracy on the approach shot in order to hit the small putting surface that is surrounded by tricky elements.

Golfer Reviews
Great first impression
We didn't play well but it was not the course's fault! It was beautiful. We would certainly come back. We even got to start earlier than planned
Twice the price half the value
Same old Orange Tree but $150 pp. It’s such a shame to see the record rack rate when the course is understaffed, under repair, and under whelming. Hopefully the owners decide to reinvest some of the record revenues over the past few years into the course. Otherwise I won’t be back any time soon.
A Very Friendly Starter But Danger On The First Hole
The practice range is on the left of the first hole. There is no net on the right side of the range, so there were a lot of practice balls on the first fairway. That is a very dangerous situation. The overall pace of play was four hours and twenty minutes, because the group in front of us was at least two holes behind the group in front of them after the front nine. The rangers were not able to get that group to play faster. The pace of play for this course should be no more than four hours. The sand in many of the the greenside bunkers needs to be replaced.
Play this course on a regular basis on my. Vacation trips. Found the course to be in excellent condition, much better than when I played it in Novemeber.. Went out as a 2some, first group out, played in less than 3 hours. Thanks to Deano. In pro shop for his courtesy and professionalism.
Good but slow
Good shape for a older course but the pace got real slow like a 4:40 round And the Marshall could have done such a better job
BK at Orange Tree
I’ve played here for many years. Starting back in the late 80’s. One of the premier courses back then.
Honestly, the place seems to be going down hill from previous years. The pro shop staff were cold, kinda like I was interfering in other things they were doing. Maybe “Hi, welcome to Orange Tree or Welcome back would have worked 🤷♂️🤷♂️.
No one at Bag Drop. Have to ring a buzzer now for help? Really? I carried them in.
Back shop employee probably the only one did a great job getting me set up in my cart and after my round cleaning my clubs and getting them out to the bag drop.
Starters and Marshals were great and accommodating with good information to share.
The course was in great shape but not that super shape that warrants these high tee time prices. You’ve really jacked them up since Covid. Probably like most trying to make up your money back in just a few winters 🤦♂️🤦♂️
If you’re charging these rates or more next winter/spring then I won’t be back. Lot’s of courses out there competing for the golfers $$’s.
BK
Much improved
Course was in much better shape than when I played it back in November. Been playing this course for the past 10 years, often times multiple times during my visits. And always enjoy it, very fair and challenging. Tees, fairways and greens were ingreat shape. They are redoing a few of theirs bunkers-no big deal, free drop, GUR!
Value is on par with other courses in the area. Nothing cheap out there.
Went out as a twosome first thing. Less than three hours to play.
Thanks to Deano, Director of Golf Operations for being so professional and welcoming. Same goes for Mike the starter.
Will defintely play again.
Thankyou to Deano
Solid course with below avg practice facilities
Course in great shape and accommodates all skill levels. Disappointing range and no separate chipping area. First time I’ve paid nearly $300 w/o range balls included
Good playable course
Everything was top notch except there weren’t enough distance markers other than at 150. If you aren’t going to provide GPS on carts, then there should be more distance markers.
I feel all of the courses in the Valley are getting too expensive.
