Orange Tree Golf & Conference Resort

Course was in OK shape. Greens rolled very nicely. Everything else could use some TLC as it was a bit rough in some spots. Not a bad course by any means but for the price paid, not worth it in my opinion.

My favorite golf course in the valley, but it isn’t as good as previous years. The tee boxes were beat up pretty bad, no fairway distance markers except 150 and not enough sand in the traps. All employees were super nice, as usual.

The homes around the course sell for $5M. I'm not sure why they don't put the money in cleaning up the course. Fairways and greens were fine, but everything in the rough looked terrible. We played Phoenix Country Club for a guest rate of $175. I would gladly pay the extra $55 to play that rather than $120 for Orange Tree. I guess that's part of the reason it was the only course we played over those 5 days that didn't have full tee times. The weather forecast was probably part of it.

I would say it's a really good $60-$80 course but very meh at $120. Staff was great and the homes were awesome.

the tee boxes and fairways were really beat up. The charge a premium but course conditions were anything but premium.

I was pleasantly surprised by orange tree golf club! A somewhat easier course due to open fairways and almost no elevation change. But the fairways and greens are in excellent condition! Greens are super fast but soft enough to keep approach shots on the green (unlike McCormick Ranch, concrete greens). Pace of play was perfect, we didn’t even see anybody behind us until halfway through the back 9. Would absolutely play again
