Orange Tree Golf & Conference Resort
About
The course at the Orange Tree Golf Resort provides an excellent game of golf in a luxurious setting. The Parkland-style layout features fairways lined with mature trees, which not only enhance the natural beauty of the golf course but can also greatly affect shots. Four lakes are situated on the flat terrain of the course, providing water hazards that come into play on five holes. Sand bunkers also surround every green. Orange Tree Golf Resort's course finishes with its signature hole, where water cuts into the fairway and proceeds to run down the left side all the way to the green. It also requires accuracy on the approach shot in order to hit the small putting surface that is surrounded by tricky elements.

Golfer Reviews
Enjoyable Round on a Soggy Course
Course was likely over-watered since we hadn't had rain for a couple of weeks. Course is great value for the money.
Always enjoy a round at Orange Tree
We play here on every trip to Az. Fun with enough challenges, especially the greens. Can’t believe the prices in Az these days. Ouch!
Nice course with excellent pace of play
I was part of a twosome that was following a threesome and we rarely had to wait. I know this can change quickly depending on who is on the course. Nice layout for all skill levels.
Front 9 fairways not yet filled in from the reseed.
The bunkers could do with a good deep raking since the ones I experienced are hard packed under the initial cover so need to pick rather than splash. Greens ok.
Uninspiring
Old course, uninteresting, skimpy grass on fairways, poor bunkers and a $20 rider fee for my wife to ride along👹
Nice but Same ol Same ol
The course was average with nice houses around the course but no views other than that. Every hole was kind of the same and the pace of play was horrible! Get a ranger or space out your tee times! All of this is probably from over booking.
Not in the shape I havebeen used to
Would always play OT several times during my previuos visits and always found the conditions to be excellent. Not so much this year.. Tees, fairs and some greens were not to the same standard I have been used to. Not sure what the issue is, that being said the course is still very playable and enjoyed my round there. Chuck the started was a pleasure to deal with as was with all staff.
Disappointing
Expected better course conditions and design. Had heard good things, but did not live up to hype. Carts were gas , and were very dirty.
Average course but got good deal so worth it
Average course , little dry and bare in spots. Players should be fixing divots but obviously we’re not. Pace ok but not great , waited most holes few mins, at one point we were asked to pick up speed and had to point out we are the ones waiting on Tee and if we hit the ball we would hit those in front of us, just seemed like course Marshall a little panicked by others comments on slow play.
Gem in the Valley
If you are looking to play a more traditional course with trees and water. Orange Tree is a very nice layout. Very forgiving fairways. Bunkers need work. But beyond that a good course for locals and someone not wanting to spend $200 a round on to play.
