Golfer Reviews
Course is in great condition, Beautiful. A lot of fun to play. My only suggestion is to have the Ranger remind slower golfers about the pace of play. Slow pace (and delayed start times) occur most times I play there. Many players at the Mulligan are beginners. No objection to beginners, as everyone has to start somewhere. But they need to learn about pace of play, when to recognize they are holding up other golfers and "pick up" and move to the next hole, etc.
The staff working the cart area are excellent, especially Tyler. They are professional, courteous and helpful.
One disappointment
We completed our round of golf at 4:30 on a Saturday and were disappointed that the bar was closed and we couldn’t have a beer. Oh well. Otherwise it was a fun day!
Poor Day
We teed off, at 5:pm. We finished the first2 holes to be told by the ranger that he was surprised they let us out. There were at least three groups in front of us with young kids that were super slow. And this was by admission by the ranger.
We ended up playing 3 balls per hole. Played 2 of the holes 3 times, 2 holes twice and still never finished befor dark
Fun course
To make this course “more interesting, we changed up which tee we would hit from and which hole C we would use. What fun we had!
lack of management
no responsibility shown for retrieving item left behind.
Course lacks decorum and hubris …
played nine hole course (3;30pm) and left my house keys in the cup holder in Cart No.2. We were the last folks to use the cart for the day. Called the course at 6:55 AM next morning and Jackie told me she “couldn’t get to the cart” but would have someone check it when it came out for use. Never heard back from Jackie, Went by the course twice and no keys. Tipped cart attendant after the round, not sure why …
One person was on with 2 young children and they were trying to play.. He should have taken them to hit driving range
Great layout!
The “short” course is a nice layout. Various tee boxes makes it challenging for all levels. I love the dual flag sticks on the greens. Regular sized holes for experienced golfers, and then the oversized wholes for the less experienced golfers. It speeds up play, as both levels of golfers in a group can be putting at the same time!!
Mulligan course at Starfire
Great day weather wise and the course is in good shape. Even thought the course has 8 3 pars it is still a challenge because of some water, sand and trees. A fun course however and the pace was good. Had to wait on the last couple of holes but nothing extreme. Had a good day.
Friendly short 9
Overall fine little course to spend a few hours on
