Scottsdale Country Club - The Championship Course

Very beautiful course, staff was extremely polite ac friendly, will definitely play again next time in this area in Arizona.

Nice layout with some challenging holes.

Pace of play was terrible, took us 5 hours to play 16 holes, gave up at that point. There was a not a marshal to be seen to keep the pace moving.

Having only been open for less than a week the greens were dead slow, almost 2 put greens and the fairways were too long to get any form of roll.

Course has definitely improved. Love the new tee boxes for the back tees

The Roadrunner course was in amazing shape today a really enjoyable round. Pace was ok but ranger was helpful. Our cart girl was super friendly. Great experience overall. Will play it again.

This was our first time playing Scottsdale Country Club. We were staying up in the area and found they had just reopened after overseed. Online reviews weren't great, but we couldn't disagree more. The course was beautiful! Cart-path only wasn't the greatest, but that's typical just after reopening, and it unfortunately slowed pace of play to a 5-6 hour round. Still, we had a good time and enjoyed the course a lot!

Course getting ready to overseed. Play any other course until overseeding is completed. Greens & tee boxes rock hard. Greens would not hold any approach shots.

Overall course conditions were very poor. The fairways were rock solid so most of my tee shots rolled out of bounds. The greens were flat out terrible. Seems like they haven’t been watered in a week. Perfect iron shots in the center rolled off the back on every single green. Played it short on the back 9 holes and still ended up on the back. Too expensive for such disappointing conditions. Played this course more times than I can remember and this is one of the more frustrating experiences, especially for the price.

I really enjoyed playing the golf course. The staff was really friendly and it’s a Supervalu. It was also fast to play, and everyone chill, it was fast to play, considering the fact that it was midday and very hot!

The driving range track man was out of service. The practice putting green was closed. The tee boxes were bare dirt on most holes. With temperatures over 100+ degrees everyday, water should plentiful, but it’s not. Only water was at the bathrooms and only one on the front and one on the back. But, they are happy to charge you for water along with any other drinks from the beverage cart that we only saw once on 18 holes. The name is very misleading. This is not a country club course. This is clearly a local course and should not advertised as anything but a local public course.

Good price @ $22. Course is getting better now that the turf is in on the fairways. Recommend you play soon before over seeding. You won't be disappointed!

This course has improved quite a bit since the last time I played. You can see where they have had some turf issues but are being addressed. Greens were in good shape. It's a a straight forward track, not difficult and fun

Played end of August. I was a little skeptical because of the reviews, which I don’t understand. For the price this is a great course, if you keep it in the fairway you will be just fine, the course will punish you otherwise. Good pace on the greens, everyone had a smile on there face for it being 115 degrees at 2 pm.

Actually pretty good condition considering the heat of summer. Greens were in real good condition.

Pace of play can be slow but this is a great course with very friendly staff.
