Golfer Reviews
Waste of money
Carts not allowed on fairways. Not disclosed when booked. Big handicap for senior golfs
Immaculate condition. Great design and a fun course
Perfect day and rapid pace of play
Course personnel were very friendly and let me out early
Good, well-maintained par 3 course
I recommend Starfire's Mulligan course. It is fun and well-maintained by the staff. Rate of play can vary dramatically: I've played here and finished in under 90 minutes. This 3:30 start took just over two hours with lots of waiting. That is to be expected when the course is fully booked and with no many novices playing. However, the vast majority of players are easy-going and understand the nature of newer players. So we were patient with those in front of us and and chatted up with those behind us. Food in the clubhouse is tasty and service attentive. The location is easy to get to off Loop 101. $49 is the typical full price (read: overpriced like all AZ courses), but our later-afternoon start was $29 sans cart.
A welcoming, non-stuffy staff is a huge plus with this course!
Wrong Tee Time
I made my tee time for 2:20 on Golf Now, as verified on my email. When I checked in the course had my tee time at 2:30. Although it seems like 10 minutes isn't a big difference, when the pace of play is so backed up, it put us behind in our plans following the round. The staff was not helpful and seemed extremely stressed about the number of people on the course. We usually only golf here for an inexpensive and quick round. I will most likely not play here again for a very long time!
Great Course For Short Game
I'm a fairly new golfer, so this is a great course (all par 3 except for 1 hole) to practice pitching, chipping, putting. Staff is always great and the course is a lot of fun.
