They send an email the day before and outline what is open , course conditions, Covid procedures , range , cart path only

Really great customer service

Greens rolled tru and at a good pace

Fairways and tee boxes in very good condition

I wasn’t in any bunkers so I can’t rate

Course layout ok

I have played several other TPC courses and I would say this was a little disappointing as far as the layout goes

This is not anything like the stadium course

Long and challenging but fair.

First time in Scottsdale, there are so many choices literally a golf course on every corner. Highly recommend TPC Scottsdale for first time golfers in PHX. Course was in excellent shape, every handicap can play Champions. Staff in Pro Shop was friendly, Starter, bag boys etc.. all professional and courteous. Played Troon North day before and while that course and amenities is a different feel, frankly had a better time at TPC. I never worry about the green fees, TPC will not disappoint.

Really enjoyed the course. Quickly got out. Beverage gal very friendly. Met a nice marshal making sure we were having fun. Challenging, great layout, greens rolled slower than I expected. Would definitely come back.

We were excited to play the Championship Course. We drove up from Southern Arizona. We usually play together once a week at different courses. We decided to make the trip up and unfortunately were disappointed. We knew about the over seeding and expected the fairways to be overgrown but the green were in poor shape. The staff were on the course in landing areas, so we had to wait for them to move. The staff came up to us and stated we were behind the pace of play we took exactly 4:18 min for a foursome cart path only. No one hit into us and were a hole ahead during the round. The threesome in front of us were a hole ahead of us and the ranger came up to us and stated go faster to catch up to the threesome. I enjoy playing fast but others in my group are older and with cart path only it made it hard on the older gentleman. Hey, I’m the first to say let’s increase pace of play but if no one is hitting into and you are playing around 14 min a hole for a foursome I don’t get the problem. Three encounters made us not want to play here any more. The gentleman at the bar said he played almost five hours which is unacceptable and never saw the ranger. Do to course shape and ranger won’t be back.

Staff less then cordial; management likewise. I'll never even attempt to play a TPC course again. Business must be too good for the way their operations are run

I’m going to grind A small ax here. If you’re paying $125 for 18 and the greens and tee boxes aren’t mowed, they just over seeded so it’s cart path only, no drinking water on course and they charge $4 per bottle at the Club house, I’m not very pleased. Then they send off our carted 4 some behind 4 walkers? Long day and likely I won’t be back.

I play this course every time I get to Scottsdale!

So they recently over-seeded and it really had an effect on the course (which is to be expected).

1st - CPO - cart path only

2nd - the seeding left the fairway grass long, and in most cases soggy from the watering. Which again, is to be expected.

3rd - greens were super slow and a bit wonky. Also everyone in the group mentioned the pin placements. I’ve seen tournaments set up easier, many Holes being a flag stick length on the green.

I didn’t care as I play quite a bit but the guys in my group found the pin spots tough.

I think I would play the tips next time around as some of the holes were way too short where I found myself hitting an iron or hybrid off the tee.

Staff was very friendly, pace of play was great and I would recommend playing this once they lose the CPO designation.

Second time playing this course and has quickly become a must play while in the Scottsdale area. The conditions are the best amongst any other course in the area that I've played and the price is about half the cost for the Champions course. Layout is enjoyable and the lush greens and fairways are stunning with the mountains in the distance. My only complaint would be pace of play. Our group finished in 4 and a half hours which is not too bad, but the group in front of us had two walkers who were duffers and we were waiting behind them frequently. Not much you can do about that but overall the experience was still a great time and will certainly be back next time I'm in Scottsdale.
