TPC Scottsdale - The Champions Course

The course is very fair from the variety of tee boxes. Course is in great shape. I found the greens to be tricky with subtle breaks. Highly recommended!

We were looking for a good reasonably priced course to start off our long weekend playing higher end courses in the area. The TPC Champions course was the perfect one for this.

All of the many staff members we interacted with were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.

The course is challenging enough, but not too difficult,

We’ll likely utilize this course again to start a future golf vacation.

The stadium course gets all of the attention but this course is absolute blast to play. There's enough tees for everyone to have a good time. It's tough but at no point was it not thoroughly enjoyable. Plus getting to watch probably a billion dollars worth or aircraft fly directly over was an added bonus. (come on guys there airplanes, sure it's loud but it's not like they're f-16s taking off.

Nice layout but you get some strange bounces off the fairways. Played in 25mph cross winds and with hard fast fairways that slopes more than they looked made for a few puzzled looks when finally finding your ball 50 yards from where you thought it ended up.

Course was immaculate condition. Layout good. No real blind spots but GPS helped. Staff and amenities were excellent. Fairways were somewhat narrow requiring fair amount of accuracy. "Dessert" areas were relatively easy to hit out of. Greens were quite fast. Fly overs from nearby airport a little unsettling but certainly added to the unique atmosphere. Would definitely play again.

When you think TPC, you think waste management phoenix open. Although this is the championship course, it feels and plays like the stadium course but at half the price. I would definitely come play this course again. It is narrow so being able to hit the fairway is crucial or self you be dropping every single time. So make sure you hit them straight.

If you do not mind the non-stop sound of landing and departing aircraft, cars on the freeway, and a non-stop wood chipper, then this course is for you. Everything else was fantastic about the experience, just the noise level was too much.

Everything about the round was good. No surprises. Friendly staff, started on time. 4:15 minute round. I especially liked the greens. They took very true, and for me, the speed was just right. I suppose around 10-11. Beautiful day.

If you are looking to play at TPC Scottsdale, Champions Course is a great option. Great layout, great condition, and overall very affordable. 9/10 would recommend!

Did not enjoy behind push by the Marshall it sort of ruin my game but it all good it’s still very nice golf course

Course was in great shape. However It was completely frozen all morning, they should have had a frost delay.

Welcome staff unorganized and not friendly.

Fantastic shape for January, only thing the starter forgot to tell us pin placements and we forgot to ask, after the second hole we were set for a great round.

I thoroughly enjoyed my day at the course. From warming up, only a short walk to the range, to the practice green right in front of the club house. Both were in excellent shape , with plenty of room for several people. The course itself was beautiful, with plenty of different looks, and enough challenges to keep you interested. The shape was excellent, and the views stunning. I would recommend this course to any caliber of golfer.A little pricey, but compared to similar prices of other courses, it was in better shape , and more interesting to play.
