Talking Stick Golf Club - O'odham Course

Course is in great condition. We loved everything about this course from the friendly and helpful staff to the amazing lunch we enjoyed. I managed to find almost every sand bunker, but that was my playing for the day, nothing to do with the course. The pace of play was great, we moved right along. The pro shop was very well stocked with men’s clothing and as with most pro shops that we’ve encountered the ladies section is much more limited, but there were nice choices here. I’m very happy we played this course and I’m excited to make another tee time on our next visit to Scottsdale.

The course was pretty. The staff were absolutely horrible people. Golf snobs of the worst degree, wearing name tags at their hourly jobs working for the Native Americans. ZERO STARS!

Greens rolled so nice, fairways plush, staff was prompt and very nice, overall experience was great.. note: bring a rangefinder as course is not very well for yardages.. but and will play again..!

If you’re looking for a course that is forgiving and open this is the one! Bunkers are strategically placed to still be challenging enough to make you think. Course was cart path only for overseeding but again being wide open and relatively flat it didn’t hurt not getting off the path. The staff was top tier! Super friendly and attentive. Bev Carts going all day and every time I was looking for a drink they were heading our way. Overall 10/10 experience and will be back!

Course was in great shape and the greens were in great condition also. Would highly recommend playing this course again.

Talking Stick isn't worth half what they charge to play. The par 4's are almost all over 400 yards, the fairways are pretty, but the greens were a joke. (punched and sandy) There was no cart service on a 107 degree day, they don't let you bring your own water, and the guys in the pro shop were jerks. They treat Golf Pass members with a Hot Deal like beggars! Spend your $$ somewhere else. ZERO STARS!

I would avoid Talking Stick. They might have the unfriendliest staff in town. Called this morning because they were wide open and they told me I could go out, just to come and they would fit me in as I was playing as a single. Got to the course, and they wouldn’t let me out because I paid twilight. Again wide open and I am a single. As many courses as there are in the area, I would and will play anywhere else. Course didn’t look in that good of condition.

I booked a reservation on Golf now walked into the Pro shop gave my name said we’re all set. The starter was very friendly and there was an opening and got off 30 minutes earlier wide fairways. we played 6200 yards. two men and two women played it in four hours and 10 minutes. Good stuff highly recommend

Over $100 to play this long, flat boring course! Not for working folks. There was no cart service (on a 107 degree day), zero shade and they won't let you bring your own water! The grass was nice on the fairways, but the greens were punched and sandy. The golf shirts in the "pro" shop were $135, instead of the usual ridiculous $80 at other courses!. ZERO STARS!

The course was in generally good condition, with tee boxes being leveled (for the most part), fairways a bit soft (not typical rollout), rough was manageable, sand traps in good shape, collars of greens were damp (checking balls on occasion), and and greens were quite slow (still recovering from recent aeration and sanding). Pace of play was very good for our foursome, as was value. Note that putting green was also very slow, given that it too had just reopened following conditioning.

These name-tag-wearing hourly employees of the SRPMIC Indian Community act like they own Pebble Beach! They treat Golf Pass members like beggars. I usually brag on a course, then the staff, but the guys there ruined it for me. I admit that the course was beautiful, with gorgeous fairways. The greens had been recently punched, but weren't too sandy, and rolled well. Still, not worth what they ask to be around horrible snobs like the boys in the pro shop. ZERO STARS!

Got a great price online, great value. Gotta play it!!
