Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club

About
Silverado Golf Course welcomes all skill levels of golfer, but more advanced players will find the course pleasant but perhaps not as challenging as they would like. Located next to a bike trail that runs through much of Scottsdale, the course provides excellent views. While playing, golfers can enjoy vistas of the surrounding desert landscape as well as the Camelback and Mummy Mountains. A notable hole is the par-3 18th hole, not only for the gorgeous backdrop provided by the mountains but also its difficulty level. From its elevated tee, golfers get a good visual of the hole including the water and strategically placed bunkers that surround it.

Good course in great condition
Course was in excellent condition with some casual water on few holes due to recent rains. Layout was great with varying style of holes. Course is par 70 and can play short if you are not playing golds which are only 6300 yards so scoring can be low.
Rates are high in Phoenix so this course at $100 is reasonable value.
Sunday afternoon round
Was in town for a long weekend and was able to enjoy a nice afternoon round at this course. It was nice that my wife was able to ride along for only an additional $20. I was really blown away at the pricing of all the courses in the area, way too expensive although being from Michigan it was nice to play in January. This placed seemed to be the best value I could find, and it was still $115.00. The places that can be played in Michigan for that price, even in peak season are far superior to these courses. Staff was friendly, pace was great, in good condition for the most part. It was great to get out and swing in the middle of winter. Fun track - would play again. Super convenient location.
Uninspiring
The course was fine, but wholly uninspiring. Not a picturesque or challenging layout. Plays through drainage washes with lots of standing water after last week's rains. No driving range. A perfectly fine "muni" style course, but not worth the money compared to other courses around the area.
Fun at Silverado
It was chilly as we started early in the morning. The course was in very good shape and everyone in our foursome had a great time. The course was more than i was expecting (Beautiful)!! But the reason I've taken the time to give a review is due to the staff. The staff was amazingly friendly before we started our round and once we finished the battery in our car was dead. The staff immediately coned off the parking spot next to our vehicle and brought over a truck to jump us. We had a lot of laughs with the staff and it certainly made for a wonderful experience. Silverado will be a regular course we play from now when we are in Scottsdale. Thank you.
Nice Course
Really nice course, a little different with 6 par 3’s but was a good round.
Great course for high to low handicap
Played this course for about the sixth time and it is in great condition. I was surprised that it was in great shape for the amount of people who played there every day. Very friendly staff and nice little bar really capped off a great experience.
A Wet Round
The course is beautiful but when we played heavy rain occurred for 2 days before our round. There we lakes and rivers flowing throughout the course that were not part of the course. It was carts on path and a real struggle to complete the round which we did not. We’ve played the course before when conditions were normal and enjoyed its design. They probably should have closed the course due to the conditions.
Great value!
Staff was super friendly and efficient. We never had to wait for slow golfers. The bar cart was available and easy to spot. The course is wide open and we easily could find balls that went off the fairway. We had a very enjoyable round. My only criticism is that the clubhouse is a bit far to take a speedy bathroom break at the turn around. I would definitely return at a later date for some fun golf!
Beautiful course
We played a few courses in the area and this one was by far our favorite. The staff was super nice! The scenery on the course is beautiful! The course is challenging but playable. The course was in great condition! I have no regrets about choosing this course, well worth the money. The only con, which doesn’t necessarily effect me but might others, was there is no range, just two nets. So no need to come early for warm up. I would definitely recommend booking a tee time at this course if you can!
we were paired with a walking golfer who we had to give rides to on the back 9 as some distances between green to tee are very long. plus, he talked A LOT.
Great Course, Great People
Service and course quality are always above and beyond.
Great Value
Great course to get the week started. Excellent condition and a solid layout for any golfer. I'd play here at this price every week.
Second time in two weeks
We really enjoy Silverado. Everything about it is first class especially the staff. They are what makes the place go and be top notch. I especially want to recognize Paul one of the staff who helps with beginning and end of the round. He’s a great guy. Very positive to hear him at the end of our round. He needs to be recognized.
