Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club
Silverado Golf Course welcomes all skill levels of golfer, but more advanced players will find the course pleasant but perhaps not as challenging as they would like. Located next to a bike trail that runs through much of Scottsdale, the course provides excellent views. While playing, golfers can enjoy vistas of the surrounding desert landscape as well as the Camelback and Mummy Mountains. A notable hole is the par-3 18th hole, not only for the gorgeous backdrop provided by the mountains but also its difficulty level. From its elevated tee, golfers get a good visual of the hole including the water and strategically placed bunkers that surround it.

Great Day at Silverado
First of all this is a very popular course in Scottsdale, so I was hesitant when my buddy said we had an 11:30 tee time on a Friday. My first thought was its going to be a long day. The course was busy, but we finished in a little over 4 hours. The course is in great shape and the staff in all departments are on top of it.
Had a really enjoyable time coming from out of town and playing Silverado. The staff was extremely nice and had great conversation. Very helpful since it was my first time at the course. Recently had some rain, but the greens were in great condition and only noticed one damp fairway.
The course has a couple tough holes, but it didnt beat me up too bad and actually beat my handicap on the course today. I would definitely recommend snagging a round at this course.
The staff at Silverado is second to none. They are always welcoming and kind. The course is in amazing condition and the greens fees won’t break the bank. They will also give you your own cart which is much appreciated in the COVID era. The course is fair and can be challenging from the tips but isn’t the hardest from the white tees.
This was the first time playing this course. The staff was very friendly from start to finish. The course was in pretty good shape. In comparison to some of the other courses we played it seemed to be slightly higher. Some downfalls included no driving range and limited putting areas. I would rate the tee boxes a 3 out of 5.
Slowest round ever
I played on a Saturday and the bag staff at the clubhouse was great and so were the course conditions.
My problem with the experience was that they put a tee time out every 3 minutes and that made for long waits on the par 3’s and overall choppy round from a time standpoint.
Unless you have 5 1/2 hours for a round don’t play as it’s not worth it.
Enjoyed the course. Great condition. Don’t like the on course cart rules — requires too much walking for us older folk. Otherwise, great experience.
