Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club - Silver Pony Course

I've probably played this course a dozen times and it's in the best shape I can remember. Receptive greens from the recent rainy weather but still roll smooth and true. The low areas get swampy on this course on account of it being in the wash - but you shouldn't be hitting it over there anyway - so don't and you are going to have a nice lie on tight fairways, or a half-ball deep Bermuda first cut all day long. The course is on the shorter side, so if you are in command of the driver you can really eat up the par 5s and a couple of the fours should just be short wedges in as well. Average price for this time of year. No complaints!

This course was in great shape, we were paired up with some great guys and we all had a blast. The wind was a bit much today, but thats golf. Can't wait to come back to Scottsdale to play this one again,

Great course for the money. However the place of place was one of the worst I have ever experienced. We only played 12 holes in close to 4 hours, and at that time needed to return due to daylight. Way too many people!!!!

Very wet course. Cart path only. Long distance between holes, could never walk this course. Poor drainage caused lakes in. The fairways. But great course layout and wide open. Rained all week so green were slow and fairways wet. Would definitely like to play here again when it’s not as wet.

Cart path only as they finished overseeding not too long ago. Beautiful course and good times especially on a hot deal.

Course was just over seeded so cart path only but was in great shape and played great. Will be back!

They overseeded on Sept 19 and reopened for play on Oct 4. Unfortunately they will be cart path only until end of Oct.

While my $80 online rate is still $30 too much for this average course, it would have been $100 had I booked thru the pro shop.

Course is in fantastic shape, the greens were a bit slow and in pretty good shape but the rest of the course was in great shape! Cart path only when I went which was not ideal.

Very fun setup that was in great shape. Teed off mid-afternoon on a Saturday and played very quickly as a 2-ball. Course was in great shape and the layout is fun. The first 7-8 holes are pretty open to let you warm up, then the things narrow just a bit the rest of the way in. Will be back for sure!

Silverado was getting ready for overseeding, which is scheduled to begin next week. As a result, the tees and fairways had already been clipped very short, but the course was still playable, with some minor adjustments to move the ball onto some remaining grass blades. Sand traps were inconsistent with sand depth, with some only having a dusting of sand on the surface. Greens looked good, but were definitely slow. Pace of play was good for our twosome (3:45), as was value, given state of conditions. With cloud cover, it was a good day on the course.

Staff very friendly. Course in great shape, greens are awesome 👌. What you read is what you get., great greens.

Course is getting ready for overseeding with fairways green but cut very low = add 10 yds to your tee shot! Greens are in good shape and roll true. Excellent pace of play during the week. Grill is open
