About
The Talking Stick Golf Club features two golf courses designed by the architecture team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, who created distinct golf courses with enough choices to accommodate all levels of golfers. The golf club sits on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community reservation, a spot that provides the serenity necessary to endure a testing day of golf.

The second hole is a par 5 that measures 552 yards from the Black tee and is one of two long holes, with the 17th being a par 5 that plays to 582 yards from the Black tees.
The 18th hole on the O'odham Course at the Talking Stick Golf Club is shorter, relatively speaking, a par 4 that measures 471 yards from the Black tees.

Nice course, great pace of play. Resort course with generous fairways. Was too expensive for the overall quality of the course compared to others we played in the Phoenix area
Enjoyable First Timers
We’re 2 couples from New England and had a very enjoyable round. The ladies loved the wide fairways and roll distance gained on most holes. Greens were in excellent shape and rolled true. Only reasons for a 4 star rating were lack of variety of the course (mostly flat-ish) and a few backups on the par 3’s (one on the back nine had 3 groups on one hole—-not sure how that happened). The wildlife on the course was an added bonus! We’ll be back despite these minor concerns.
Nice course but
It was all about pace of play. Tee time was 1:40. The starter told us they were all about pace of play. He also said he doubted I would get the 18 holes in. I was joined by 3 others and we got 9 holes in by close 4:30. The others left after the 9. And I am standing at 10 thinking I am not going anywhere and decided to drive the cart around the back 9 just to see the course. Nice course. Value for money, not so, I am sure it would have been a 5.5 to 6 hour round if my schedule and the course clock would have allowed.

Course was in excellent condition and pace of play was perfect for a Sunday morning round. Finished right at 4 hours.

Great course and conditions. Round time 4 hours. Great staff. Very fair course in perfect condition. Just a little pricey for out of town guest.
Class act
My wife was a last minute scratch due to getting sick. The TS staff was great. The golf course was in super solid shape, yet the staff is why I recommend the course and why I’ll be back.
Course in good shape, greens were a little firm. My only complaint is they closed the range from 1pm to 3pm to do maintenance. They couldn't pick a worse time. I had a 1:45 tee time and got there just before 1pm and as I walked over, they closed it. I don't know why they can't close it at 3 or 4pm for the evening and do their maintenance, instead of doing it in prime time. Other than that, had a great time.
Just OK
Pretty repetitive course. They shuffled our tee time around a bit, which made it tough to finish before last light, so keep an eye out for that if you are going to be right on time.
Nice Track
Descent desert track, course was in very good shape, the greens have a lot of grain, which I haven’t seen much of in the desert, nice change.
