Nice course sand traps need work. But my favorite course

pretty poor conditions. just seem lack of

proper maintenance.im sure maybe certain times in the year the course is nice? the positive played in two

half hours. And greens were in okay shape. Only go back if fees are low.

The greens are in great shape, but slow. The fairways are in pretty good condition. Lots of swampy spots from over watering or possibly water line leaks.

Good value for the money.

The course is dealing with 98 days over 100 similarily to other courses. That said, there water a lot of water sitting on the course, as they try to keep everything green. We had a 6am te time, so we understand why there was water on the course.

Greens were in good condition, a little slow due to leaving the grass longer to help it survive the heat.

Tees were in great shape, and fairways were green, with some puddles, but not bad.

I would highly recommend the course, we will be back next Friday!

A fun and challenging layout. Course conditions are getting better. Greens are rolling nice and the fairways are decent . If you hit a good shot, you'll most likely find it in good grass. Some soggy and bare spots off the fairway, and the bunkers are either hard or very wet. Still a great summer value.

At this time of the year, it's really hard to grow grass, but Hillcrest has full fairways and the greens are rolling great

Course is in good shape a little soggy around some fairways. But nice layout, great staff. Slow play on the back 9 inexpensive golfers should have let up play through paired with two really great guys. I will play here again.

The course has some challenging holes for sure. A couple long Par 5 dog legs and a couple long Par 3’s. There are a few spots around the course that need some attention for sure. Some holes could use a new ball washing station. Maybe have a few more water stands as well. The staff at Hillcrest is amazing. They are very friendly and helpful. I would like to recognize Bill for sure. He is very knowledgeable, hard working, and keeps that place running smoothly. Thank you Bill.

This is a nice course to play when you're in the area. The guys were super friendly and informative. Personalized service with a smile. The course was watered pretty hard but it's summer in Phoenix so that's part of the game. I'll go back again.

Golfed here for the first time. There was a monsoon rain storm the evening before, so a little wet, but expected. Fairways and greens were in nice condition, anything to the side was a little soggy, but if you are playing well that should be a non issue. Staff was friendly and helpful. The cart gentlemen was great, gave me a little history on the course at the end of the round. I played early, so they were still mowing, but I’d suspect if I started later it would have been perfect. Played 18 in about 2 hours, 15 min. I read a lot of people complaining about the conditions, but for $40 or so, I don’t see a lot of room for complaining. Overall I enjoyed my round here and would definitely come back.

I have played this course several times in the past, and each time the conditions get progressively worse. I understand that has been a difficult summer for all of the courses in the valley, but this course is truly struggling from holes throughout the fairways through potholes on the cart paths that are left. This course has a terrific layout, which is the reason I come back season after season, but the conditions are continuing to deteriorate.

Love this place! Love the range, putting green, snacks....everything!

I’ve been playing Hillcrest for a couple years now. Just a very relaxing course to play. Has character.

The golf course is in excellent shape for summer conditions. We played in less than 4 hours.
